The hotel is very inexpensive, but perhaps a bit more furniture in the room would have been good 😊. However, it was convenient and cheap with nice staff - so no real complaints.

The hotel was basic but good - staff were very friendly, and the location is good too.

No tea or coffee in the room. It was free available downstairs but as I use crutches this wasn't accessible for me. Car park is small but there's also lots of on street parking just check the times and for wardens lol.

Sensible prices. Friendly welcome, staff happy to help. Breakfast, pay extra but lovely. Good local amenities.

The only issue if anything was that the room did smell as if someone had been smoking in it and there was no ventilation in the bathroom so wet towels and all from swimming did make it smell a bit, and i had to be up at 8am to juggle the parking but that's all.

The staff were so so lovely and so welcoming, , we travelled down for my sons 13th birthday and they put balloons and banners in the room prior to our arrival. The pub and facilities were spot on and the room and beds were clean. Breakfast was really good and the music downstairs was off by 12. The prices were also really good, to stay and for food and drinks and they also had some good evening events. In all I couldn't fault them. The beds were really comfy and despite reviews I had previously read, our room came with a TV with a remote, had multiple channels and we had a kettle. I was surprised at some reviews that I had seen before going as I don't think they represent the place at all my son was buzzing when we got there and he's autistic and is very fussy. The layout of the pub was excellent, i wish i had had more time to spend my evenings in there. We were only 5 minutes from the snowdome and namco which is what we went there for and infront of the inn are several takeaways, a tesco express, a pharmacy so i was impressed with the location, in all we were very happy and would definitely stay again.

Parking is limited, but there is plenty of street parking. I just wish the council would put signs up to confirm time limits so it was a guessing game. Toilet seat was held on by one fitting and no plug for the sink.

    Convenient, cheap, clean, comfortable.

On walking in I got stared at by the locals, at check-in got told the kitchen was closed. In the room right next to the pool table and a speaker so could hear that through the wall. Television not working, aerial has been broken and ripped out - saw this on another person's review, naively thought they would have already repaired it. Mould in the bathroom shower. Pillows weren't any good way too thin

Really nice staff, Bed was comfortable.

The room I was in was a bit out dated, there was this very strong , unpleasant smell, it was cold as well as there was no heating . Also, there was mould around the window in the room, around the mirror in the bathroom and in the shower. The remote control was missing a battery , and you could feel the springs on the mattress. Felt like I draw the short straw with this one.

Spacious room with private bathroom, even though this is a pub and it was Karaoke night can’t say I’ve heard the noise in the room. Friendly staff , and overall felt safe, good location and open garden.

In the communal area, hall and stairs in the hotel section, the carpets need a proper deep clean. Some of the doors to other rooms are tatty looking, they have small sections of the outer door missing around the door handles, as if broken off, this is easily fixable ans needs doing to smarten theblook of the hotel section. The place just needs a tidy up in the hotel section only, as the pub is lovely and the beer is top drawer, a great pint. Great tv's and a large screen for watching the sport, and again, couldn't fault the staff and the locals. They were very welcoming, I had a good laugh and a great night! I would definitely recommend staying here though, as it is great value for money, just be aware, it isn't the Ritz but neither is the price, that of the Ritz! The positives most definitely outway the negatives, though. Rooms are very clean, I had a great sleep!

Very clean, really good bed and great pillows. Great shower, and the towels are lovely! Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, I was really impressed by their 'Can do' attitude. Free parking round the back, accessible by driving through petrol station forecourt with access to the pub, through the beer garden.
