I've got a clear informations about everything and because of that everything went smooth and fine.

Cannot access WiFi from the upper floor. the bed and toilet was little bit old so it cannot be fully clean. Washing and drying machine did not work very well. Towels were clean but it seems like they provide old colorful towels rather than investing on new towels for customers which looks untidy.

Everything as shown in the picture. The place closes to Co-op supermarket. Not too far from city centre. The room is not too small. The staff named Aaron was keen to assist. They have kitchen and laundry machine. Baggage storage is allowed after check-out.

The cleaning personnel left towels and other things on the floor near/in the kitchen-Looked bad. One of our towels were damp when we got it. Tables in common area was extremely wobbly. Noise from other rooms. Everything looks cheap. Four single beds in the room, wished only for a double bed and extra bed. Service personnel with quick answer of questions, but the way they presented themselves made it feel like they were not service personnel but random people who live in the hostel. No possibility to store luggage safely. Early checkout 10 am. Ok beds - some you could feel the springs in.

Tall ceilings. And ok curtains. Walking distance to city. Pretty outdoor part. Quick answers of questions. Warm water in shower. Many drawers. Lots of pillows.

Blind was torn and didn't keep light out. No bedside light. Hard to get shower consistently warm.

There was a giy by the name erik or erin he really was helpful when we asked him to change the room because my mum couldnt walk upto the top floor so he complied by giving us a room on the first floor. Cheers to him

- The beds are all seem very old, with some you can even feel the spring - Cleanliness not the best, but tolerable

- The house is very spacious, can fit up to 20 people. - The facilities were just enough. - However the cleanliness of the property could’ve been improved. - The property seems to have been maintained just recently. - Very good location, just 5 mins walk to the nearest bus station, with just 10 mins drive from the waverley station. - All in all, we had a good stay.

For the price and location - it's a great hotel. Nothing fancy. A bit run down, but it has character, it's dirt-cheap and it's very well located.

I couldn't contact the property via phone to say I was running late for check in. The phone-in is for some stag and hen party line. I had difficulty finding it as it has a different name 'King's Inn view'' . I was charged 20 cash for late check in. The young man showed me the code to my room and the front door (on his phone). Then he left. I was in the basement with a room without a window. The beds looked like camp beds. I felt unsafe. I left and paid another £300 for the weekend. Booking.com told me that I wouldn't be reimbursed as I didn't give them a chance to rectify it but there was no one to contact !. They weren't cheap either. £70 per night

the hotel was cold and not very clean. The radiators didn't work at night.the water in the shower was lukewarm and there was very little flow. the amount I paid for the day was not adequate to what I found there. at the beginning there was no hot water in the shower and we had to change the room but someone fixed it and we returned to the previous one. I do not recommend this hotel. the room in the photo from the reservation was not the same one I booking.com

I arrived there a bit earlier to drop my luggage. However there was nobody at the reception, nobody picked up the phone or my messages through Booking.com, so I had to drop my luggage at some storage in the city center and come back later. The bathroom was the worst. Very small, and hot water was barely coming out from the shower, so showering (in the winter) was a punishment!

The location was fair good for the price. Beds were comfortable and I believe this is key.

I booked this place despite reading some negative reviews online thinking that some people always have something bad to pinpoint. Boy, I didn’t think that I’ll be proved so wrong. We booked this place for 3 nights and we didn’t like it at all. The worst stay of my life ever. The beds were uncomfortable with springs poking out, causing injury to my hip. The room was unclean, harboring forgotten items like grapes and water bottles beneath the bed. The heating was insufficient, leaving us shivering in the December cold, and the unwashed duvet and bedsheet added a unpleasant odor. The staff member offered no solution. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on our disappointing stay.

- Uncomfortable bed: My friend's bed had a bunch of wood tables between the mattress and the legs of the bed. The beds were super old same as the sheets. - Uncared room: The walls looked like they were gonna fall at any moment, the wall paper was broken in many places - Cold room: It was end of November so it was super cold in Edinburg so when arriving to the room we were expecting it to be warm enough, instead we had to ask for additional heater, otherwise it was imposible to get warm - Noisy toilet: Even when it was not being used, after anyone flushed, it sounded as if it was done in our toilet - Unstable building: When someone walked in the corridor or closed a door, the whole building was shaking and making noises, it was really scary

John was absolutely wonderful, he kept our extra luggage safe for us while we were in a different hostel, everyone was very helpful and friendly. there were tons of appliances to use for cooking and our food stayed untouched in the fridge, we were able to do our laundry in the hostel as well which was great. the hostel was in a wonderful location and very central to bus lines. John was also great about extending our stay multiple times! would definitely stay here again!

Property was cold and there was mould in the bedrooms and bathrooms and smelt of this. The dryer didn't work and also the heating only worked on upper levels so it was cold on lower floors and we couldn't dry our clothes, we were a party of 12 and weren't able to enjoy our stay or sit together in main areas. Also there was a pipe burst and water came in through walls of bedroom and bathroom. Beds were old and uncomfortable. No one slept properly! The propert was not tenable for our stay.
