We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Greeted on arrival with a room upgrade - stunning room looking out onto the High Street. Lovely touches in the room, complimentary bottled water and even a decanter of sherry! Tasty breakfast. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

United KingdomThe Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room, and the mattress on the left hand side was sloping so much I actually slipped out of bed in the night, we had to prop it up with pillows. It was extremely hot in the room too but we did have a fan. It was comfortable and clean but £140 a night was a bit steep for what we got.
The location is excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful, it’s great that there’s a car park too.

The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and my requests for dietary requirements were met. We had an evening meal which again was first class. The room was comfortable. If we booked again we would like a room with a bigger shower space.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Lisa, John and staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and our room comfortable with tasteful decor. We had access to a fridge and microwave which was very useful, and the snug area was lovely and cozy. There was plenty of choice with regard to tasty breakfasts, rangng from freshly prepared fruit, eggs royale/benedict, cereals and a full English, with a vegetarian option too, both cooked to perfection. I have stayed in many hotels of all descriptions and would definitely rate this as being one of the best I have experienced.

We were given a better room on check-in despite having the dog. He was spoilt at breakfast with a choice of sausage or bacon - never had that before! Lisa and John could not have been more welcoming. We felt like we were staying at their private house.
