Having to leave to come home

Beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable property. I needed to work but there was enough room for my partner to chill. Kitchen was small but had everything you need to make a meal. Felt like a tiny taste of luxury. Would highly recommend this property and will stay here again (if I can) next time I am in Lincoln.

Beautiful apartment, spacious, very clean, the owner was warm & very friendly, made us feel extremely welcome, including a few little extras that were extremely thoughtful. The apartment was amazing, the icing on the cake was the owner! Thankyou so much for making our stay so enjoyable!!! I will happily return in the future and will definitely recommend this to family & friends 😁

It was a self catering accommodation - breakfast was not included - However, the host left us a wonderful basket of goodies, which included a cake, croissants and condiments - they were all delicious.

The Dower House was an exceptional place to stay. We have travelled and stayed in dozens of properties in recent years and can quite honestly say this was the best without doubt. The host was very friendly, the room quiet and the garden relaxing. We'll be back for sure.

Fantastic decor, loved the fresh flowers. Wonderful, hardworking, and helpful owner. Comfortable rooms with every thing we needed. Walking distance to the Bomber Command Memorial /exhibition. Really want to go back to feel so special again.

I can't think of any downsides, it was all excellent.

The apartments are very spacious and well equipped, while the host included lots of little extra touches that were really appreciated.

Nothing not to like. Perhaps would benefit by having a bigger bed, but that's only because that's what we're used to. Mattress also a little soft for me but again personal preference.

The setting was beautiful. We felt like we were in a French chateaux in the country. Loved the period features and very spacious apartment and well equipped throughout. Immaculately clean.. All the additional little extras like milk, selection of teas and coffees and breakfast provided were nice little touches. The location was ideal. Meant that we could walk into the centre and avoid the parking fees. Loved the garden. Really appreciated all the work that had gone into it. So pretty at night with all the lights. The host was very friendly and accommodating and helped us check into our apartment. If visiting again wouldn't hesitate to return to the Dower house.

Beautiful property. Apartment very well equipped and all done to a very high standard. Friendly and helpful host on site but not in your face. Probably the best short let we've stayed in. My wife really liked the coffee cake especially as it's the one cake I don't like!

Nothing it was perfect in every way!

Where do I start, from the moment we pulled up we couldn’t believe how beautiful the building was! Neil our host was a little superstar even taking time out to show us round other apartments in the building and telling us all about his backstory. This by far has been the best property we’ve ever stayed in, impeccably clean and comfortable! Neil even provided us with nibbly bits in the kitchen and lots of tea, coffee and milk. We honestly can’t wait to come back! 100% recommend the Dower House Apartments you certainly won’t be disappointed!

This is is such a wonderful place! Fabulous restoration of the house. The apartment was superb, very well equipped with everything you could think of and more and was extremely comfortable. We had a lovely sitting out area with Apartment 1 with views of the lovely garden. The host was so lovely and very helpful. The extra treats provided were much appreciated - lovely to have cake with our coffee on arrival and have something in for breakfast. Absolutely 100% recommend!
