Indoor pool was great for the kids but changing facilities could do with a bit of TLC. We were in an "annex" which was basically a house the hotel owned down the side street! This wasn't a problem for me and my son but might not be suitable for everyone. Overall would recommend hotel to families coming to stay in Blackpool.

The staff were friendly and hard working. The hotel was clean and the room was nice and modern. A nice relaxed friendly atmosphere. Bingo and singers were good in the evening. Nice seating area in front of the hotel for people to relax and enjoy the sea view. Overall really good hotel.

Could do with more staff especially in restaurant. Struggled to cope and occasionally got orders wrong.

Quality of the cooked breakfast wasn't great, also limited as hash browns are only available as a special? Black pudding was special on this particular morning?? My daughter doesn't eat meat, so she ended up with a plate of beans and some toast, which was actually bread. Bar would benefit from servicing the glass wash.

Staff were helpful and very nice, the room was comfortable and spacious, generally good value. Good entertainment.

You have to pay for the bar at the outdoor pool they say it's a different license but the receipt says doric Hotel Cause it's an outdoor bar apparently you have to pay cause of the licence it was a rip off £7.30 for a feast andna magnum and a J20 That's our only issue we payed alot of money for the all inclusive the outdoor bar should be included

The indoor pool was amazing and warm and not too deep for a short person like me The jacuzzi and steamroom was a nice surprise spent most of out time down there The showers wear so warm The beds wear really comfy There was a washing line that gose over the bath great idea Nice size The staff wear amazing so chatty and kind and we need a remote and they came up within minutes and gave us 1 The food was spot on Definitely got good use of the all inclusive and they didnt skip out on good quality food or drink

Great location for the Beaverbrooks 10k race. Good breakfast.

Only negative was it was quite warm but still had no effect on our comfort and stay .

The Doric has easy parking , lovely decor , excellent staff in a fab location with tram stop right outside for convenience, very pleased and will go back again soon.

There isnt a car park. There is space for a few cars parked down the side of the building which means you cant access your car for the stay. The lift was very small. Couldn't fit anyone in with a buggy so had to send it up and take stairs .

Good location and nice little pool and hot tub. Fun family entertainment in the evening too. We had a suite and it was nice and spacious for myself and 3 children.

A lovely hotel, with friendly, hard working staff. Good sized lovely clean room, very comfortable beds and good food. The entertainment was good , with one evening with the 4ds exceptional. Thank you especially to the staff, who were exceptional. As a bonus, looking out to the setting sunset over the sea.

It was too hot , the heating was on full blast I think, it made it uncomfortable to sleep, so much I had to have the window open and the curtains to get some air, also in the restaurant in the morning it was far to warm

I liked the swift check-in, the warm welcome from the reception team, the room choice was good, the bar staff were great, the breakfast staff could do with a little more training, I got my breakfast in stages, breakfast, then a cup, then milk then coffee, and I had to ask everytime I wanted something, even to the point of getting a tea spoon, but I get they were busy, but if you ask if someone wants coffee or tea, please ensure they have the whole items to hand, and not having to wait ages , but over all it was a good experience

The all-in exclusive stopped at 10 before the end of the show and you have to pay full price.the room we had was very small had 2 single beds squashed into it i was treated by my wife for my 74th birthday and she was very disappointed.

The entertainer was good. staff was very good
