It was almost like a hidden gem! It is very well built and the rooms are small but cosy. The staff are very friendly too. We loved the amount of complimentary service you can receive on your stay.

We have booked this hotel last minute as our AirBnB cancelled. It was a great find, we were very rushed as we were running late to a concert and the lady who checked us in was brilliant and also accommodated us in rooms close together which was really important for the kids. Really nice decor at the hotel, quirky, all the staff were helpful and pleasant, lots of free things like prosecco and nibbles late afternoon, cookies and milk at night. Rooms were small but well formed and thought through. Really enjoyed the stay.

Old building so a bit creaky and could hear other guests, especially those in the room above. However, earplugs are provided which is a nice touch.

Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Staff very friendly and attentive. Option to contact them using WhatsApp or a phone in the room. Breakfast delivered at a convenient time, excellent coffee 24/7. The room had a hairdryer, straighteners and a curling wand. Beautiful room and bathroom. Way above expectations of a £99 stay!

Staff were fantastic and all the little extras were brilliant. Prosecco and nibbles before we went out and the little breakfast brought to your room was lovely. Bed was really comfy and the room had everything you needed. Great location for going out in the northern quarter. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely nothing not to like.

The room was simply beautiful. It had shuttered windows, high ceilings and was quiet. My bed was clean and comfy:the decor modern and tasteful. The en-suite bathroom was just amazing. Natural materials complimented by brass fittings. Above and beyond my expectations. The cool hollow is one of Manchester’s hidden gems. ‘The Bay Suite’ for me, was a holiday experience in an overnight stay! Complimentary Prosecco and nibbles, milk and cookies before bed and a wonderful continental breakfast served with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, croissant, fruit and yogurt and muesli. A generous breakfast which reflects the attention to detail that this boutique hotel offers in every aspect of their hospitality. The bathroom featured a magnifying ring lit mirror that illuminated when approached. Several features like this denote responsible environmental practice. The bar area was very small and wasn’t a fan of sitting on the steps on cushions, but that’s personal preference. Also we were at the front of the property so the passing trade of a night was very loud.

The staff were really welcoming and engaging with my 8 year old. They couldn’t do enough and always had a smile on their face. The added complimentary extras are a lovely touch, we loved it. Bed was also really comfortable.

The location of the hotel was superb, the parts of the city centre we wanted to see were all within walking distance . The hotel it’s self was Excellent, an old converted factory , the renovations done with style and taste. The staff were were super helpful and friendly 😃

Hotel is modern but very cosy, the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive. The room was the perfect size for a couple to stay in overnight, everything you needed was there. The complimentary glass of Prosecco and breakfast were a nice added bonus.

Really lovely room. Quiet. Wonderful, friendly staff. We were offered complimentary tea/coffee when we arrived back in the evening, plus complimentary prosecco between 5-7. Lovely, comfortable bed with a large shower. Great location too, just on the edge of the Northern Quarter.

There was nothing not to like about this hotel

This is a very special hotel in Manchester, where we were treated very much as individuals. All of the hotel and our room was spotlessly clean with lovely modern decor and style. The bedding was sumptuous and certainly not run of the mill hotel bedding. There were very many lovely extras provided at the hotel that made the stay even more of a treat. The staff were all friendly and accomodating and genuinely interested and invested in the hotel.
