The noise from the road was loud , and my room overlooked the main road intersection. It wasn't too much of an issue as I was only booked in for 1 night. This wouldn't stop me from booking again .

Staff were amazing, very helpful, and friendly. The room was very nice , compact, but had everything I needed. I didn't eat in the hotel but it did look lovely. The hotel is central to the town, so very handy.

Minor thing - the hot water coming out of the non-mixer tap in the bathroom wash basin was rather too hot.

Didn't realise till we arrived that there was a £5 car parking fee. Luckily, there was a space left to park as the car park is not huge and the hotel was busy inside.

Convenient overnight stay after attending a nearby family wedding. We had booked the basic twin bedroom which was small but, clean. The beds were comfrotable. Hairdryer, ironing board and iron provided plus the usual tea,coffee, biscuits, bottled water, etc. We didn't have breakfast as were returning to wedding venue for that so cannot comment on what is provided. There was an extra charge for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Some dubious marks on the bed linen and curtains didn't shut properly which let a lot of light in.

It was well located for my business trip. I stopped in the double room which was quite spacious clean & tidy. Tea & coffee facilties in the room plus hairdryer for those that need it. It was warm & cozy a the bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was modern with walk in shower with good water pressure. Good size smart tv on the wall & decent wifi.

Booked a double ended up with a cosy double and it lived up to it's name.could have had 2 bedside tables , bathroom very cosy , using the loo was a tight squeeze between the shower to the side and sink in front

The breakfast was appalling it was cold and no staff in the breakfast area to ask to replace it so I just left it uneaten the radiator in the room was broken we had a small oil heater but the room was cold in the morning

The person in the room next door was playing their television loudly. They were watching an action movie with lots of shouting and shooting. It didn’t finish until midnight. This was not the hotels fault but I wonder if having some way of limiting the TV volume or even placing polite reminders in rooms might be helpful so guests don’t disturb one another. There was also a lot of movement outside my room from 5:30 in the morning. It sounded like equipment being carried. Maybe a hoover? But heavy footsteps and the landing door opening and closing loudly several times was annoying. Again, just inconsiderate for people trying to sleep. We had travelled a long way from Devon to attend a family funeral. Such broken and disturbed sleep was not helpful. We had a twin room and the second smaller beds mattress was very soft and the springs have seen better days. It could do with being replaced. While the breakfast was great value at £6.50 each, we were informed that we could request a vegetarian breakfast although there was no one around in the morning to request this from. We waited but no one came. One morning there was no salt and pepper put out and again no one to ask. It is just the little things of having someone around to ask if you have everything you need that makes a difference.

I was surprised by a charge for parking on the property. The room was small but mostly serviceable apart from the shower which a little too small for comfort.
