Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe room was tiny especially for the price paid. It was like living in a corridor; actually the landing for the elevators was bigger than the room. Also, the elevators took forever to come because of a weird system. The window was hard to open and rarely stayed open
The desk staff were very helpful

United KingdomThe walls had multiple big stains which wouldn’t be expected in a 4 star hotel. Also the toilet was extremely small, I could wash my feet in the shower whilst on the toilet if I wanted to, no room to even dry my body with a a towel without bashing everything .

United KingdomNo AC in the room however it was stated in the info section, even though there was airplay often the connection of Netflix/YouTube will disconnect from the phone which was annoying, to add aswell the size of the bathroom was terrible, literally a little box for what you pay for and lastly the bar guy at the restaurant was very strange we asked for wine glasses we even said we would bring them back he just said no without stating any reason
The property is very modern and looks very stylish, it is not far from the station which is good also I loved that high view of London city

United KingdomI loved the concept here but unknowingly all the extra fun amenities were closed for refurbishment - the pool and sauna. Which are a key benefit to this hotel . I’d certainly stay again once the refurb of those amenities are back. Nonetheless a very good hotel for Canary Wharf / London location. Rest of hotel lacks nothing really. Certainly recommend and would stay again. Irrespective of this observation.
Expensive accommodation but unique in its delivery. Great location for Canary Wharf and accessible by car and transport. Very compact accommodation but what is lacking in space in rooms is made up for in amenity. This community based aparthotel live work model offers a unique experience. Large roof top bar/ cafe with exceptional views across London but also lots of social space a gym spa and roof top pool. Sadly these facilities were closed for reno during our visit. Given the price paid in hindsight quite disappointing but got free passes to nearby gym … not quite the same . It is expensive but also is a unique experience and well worth the stay. Has study and communal spaces a laundry room , large super communal kitchen, snugs, rooms with seating tv and games. Think eternal student experience. Boutique modern design with cafe and perfect work / study spaces. It’s a great concept ! A mix crowd of long term work/ study, millennials, gen z!s couples solos possibly families instagramable types. Not sure children are allowed feel like it’s not a child hotel please check!. V Mature customers may not be overly enthusiastic about the boutique/ concept and compact living space. But I’m sure it will be any experience. Rooms offer very compact but well considered space. Perfect for one Snug for two. With large cases it may be interesting but the wardrobes offer plenty space. Kitchenette offers small hob fridge with micro freezer and grill micro oven thing. Utensils need to be requested. (We get it) Love the softer touches, art, books in room , fake plants. Book shelves . Breakfast bar and high seating . Bathroom is very compact, walk in showers. Compact aside bed was comfortable . Semi firm but a small double for sure. Good variety of lighting options. Heating !!! Real radiators in a hotel. Not sure if there are rooms adapted for disabilities but the compact space in room may be difficult to negotiate for those with mobility issues.

United KingdomIt wasn’t very clean, room door had a blade mark and the bathroom was very very small. The coffee received was very cold from the roof top bar and didn’t taste very nice.
The location, staff very friendly and roof top working location was good especially the views. Quite location during busy periods away from central London but easy to explore via tube. Many local places to eat.

United KingdomThe room temperature can only be controlled with the window, which meant we either woke up with dry throats or had to wake up and close the window throughout the night. Bathroom is tinyyyy, bathroom sink was barely usable - we used the kitchen sink to brush teeth/wash face.

IrelandIt was 10:30am, I was packing my things when my door was opened by the cleaning staff. I told her I am just about to leave as checkout was at 11 and she didn’t get what I was saying. Overall that was the only thing I did not like, it was a bit odd as it was before the checkout time and my partner was getting dressed when the door was flung open.
The location was really good, close enough to central london. The room was clean, check in was easy and staff were kind.
