Lovely warm welcome from both Dan and Ciara and their animals. How can a welcome be improved on a gang of pet lambs coming to say hello! we were shown around the accommodation where everything was and how it all worked. They then took their time finding out why were to staying and offering lots of helpful advice that would improve our stay in the area with suggestions of places to go, things to do as well as the local eateries. The fresh eggs left in the kitchen were truly amazing an incomparable flavour and taste compared to supermarket eggs! We look forward to being able to return in the near future

The stairs up to the lounge and bedroom are a little tricky to negotiate (one has to watch where one is putting their feet!), however, we were made aware of this upfront so this was fine. Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever.

Wonderful location on a farm in beautiful countryside, extremely welcoming, friendly and genuine hosts (including 3 friendly host dogs!). Loved having the freedom to explore the farm and interact with the animals inc wildlife. Accommodation was clean, well equipped and very comfortable (comfy bed and good shower). Water tasted amazing there! The whole experience was very special and I would book again.

The staircase from kitchen to living area and bedroom was steep and not the easiest to negotiate.

The accommodation was well off the beaten track in peaceful farmland, ideal for walking and bird watching, but also within 20mins drive of Kirkcudbright. It was very well equiped and comfortable, self-contained but located within the owner's farmhouse. The owners were friendly and helpful.

This is in an amazing spot! Lovely views all around-you can walk all around the farm. It was so quiet and peaceful but its not far to the local small towns and coastline. Lots of places to go walking

The farm is beautiful and the owners encouraged us to explore it. If you climb the hill there is an amazing view of the coast. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and recommended an excellent restaurant. This was a highlight of our trip.

Could do with a better shower,(perhaps an electric power shower) you have to jump around a bit to get wet! But as it was a short break it didn’t matter too much.

The Cheeseloft is a great apartment on two levels with everything required for a quiet break. we loved the patio area where we could eat breakfast accompanied by a few chickens and one or other of the farm dogs, collie and fox-red Labrador. beautiful walks, a pool for wild swimming, and lots of peace and quiet. Fantastic hosts.

We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The Cheeseloft was spotless, homely and so comfortable. The bed was huge and deliciously comfortable! The hosts Ciara and her husband were so friendly, their little boy adorable it was a real pleasure to be their guests. Castle Creavie is in a truly beautiful, peaceful part of Dumfries and Galloway, reached down a little lane only 4 miles from Kirkcudbright, a place to truly unwind and relax....can't wait to take more of our family with us for a return visit😊

The Cheese Loft is in a stunning location on a farm about 15 minutes drive from Kirkcudbright. The living accommodation is spacious, clean and very comfortable for a couple. Ciara and Dan gave us a very warm welcome and have thoughtfully provided many leaflets of walks and activities in the area. There is a lovely walk around the farm with fabulous views of the Galloway countryside.
