It was difficult to find a parking space and our room was up many flights of stairs which became tedious

Sat evening we came in for food all tables were dirty , I had to go up ask for cloth to wipe my table ,the female behind bar was chatting she just give me cloth had to wipe my own table. Normally not bothered but there was 4 people in pub as she was chatting to mates ,looks like customers didn't matter.,not a great advert for witherspoons

Great value for stay in heart of Ruthin. Having a Wetherspoons downstairs means you don't have to go far for catering..

The view from our room was a bit gruesome as builders had scaffolding up. We were there for two nights and we never saw anyone working on the property.

The room was ideal. It had everything that we needed.

Parking in local carpark is not set up for over night parking unless you want to put a ticket in the car at 8am,but did find free on street parking near Tesco's which is about 5 mins walk away .this is obviously nothing to do with the hotel and is a reflection on the local council

Nice central location and very quiet on a Sunday night, and ruthin has a nice friend feeling and would recommend .also I like the 2pm check in and not having to get up by 8am for a hotel breakfast as checkout is 11am and breakfast is served until midday

I did enquire about paying for wifi but wasn't given this option. Wifi in bar and restaurant area is very poor. It was fine in the room though. Very expensive parking in public car park close by. It cost £16.40 over the two days.

comfortable spacious room with everything i needed. Good choice of food on menu and friendly staff

    Nothing.

My wife and I came to Ruthin from Dublin to attend The Most Haunted Experience at Ruthin Castle and decided to spend the night beforehand at The Castle Hotel. The best way we can sum up our stay is to say, you can't go wrong staying here.
