Perfectly located for our needs, which was a 6 minute walk from the Farmers Arms. We were only at the property for one night, but it was so well appointed with everything you would want or require for a longer stay. Really good design and layout. Nicely decorated, and lovely to have a good sized shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. For longer stays, the information book gives recommendations for exploring the area, walks and places to eat and drink. A lovely welcome pack, with local produce, plus a birthday gift for my husband. It couldn’t have been a nicer stay for us. The local post office/shop, also just down the road is fantastically stocked with all you would need for a longer stay. Gabby and Tim seem to have thought of everything.

The property could have been signposted a little bit better

Absolutely loved our stay here. If we didn't live so far away we would absolutely make this a regular holiday stay with our dog and go on day trips from here. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and while the space is small it is laid out very well so you can really get the most use out of everything. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom nice and clean and the towels and bath robes were some of the softest I've ever seen.

We have not one complaint!

The Captain’s Quarters was absolutely wonderful. We chose this place because of the baby-friendly accommodations, but when we arrived we were blown away by the quality and details. Tim and Gabby have mastered hospitality! In our experience, traveling with a baby has been a little less than luxurious but this place was different! Robes, towel warmer, luxury shower, vanity, stocked kitchen, locally sourced welcome goodies, kind owners that welcomed us in, etc., etc. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Lovey clean modern and spacious accommodation. Everything you could possible need. The dog treats were gratefully received and enjoyed. The milk and cakes were a lovely touch.. we stayed one night but would have been so comfortable to have stayed longer.. Will definitely stay again.

Having to leave!

This was our second stay at The Captains Quarters and it certainly did not disappoint. The apartment has everything you need and is immaculate throughout. With lots of windows and the patio doors, the apartment is so light and airy. The kitchen is well equipped with a washer/dryer and dishwasher. There are plenty cutlery and plates in the neatly designed kitchen. The living area is equipped with storage space, a lovely two seater sofa and armchair and a wall-mounted smart TV. It is so cosy! There is a double wardrobe in the bedroom area with shelf storage and hangers. Also a dressing table area with storage and a mirror. The bed is so comfortable! There is also a wall-mounted TV in front of the bed which was great for watching a film in the gorgeous fluffy robes provided before sleep. The bathroom is immaculate and stocked with hand-wash and toilet roll. The waterfall shower is just amazing. When we arrived, there was a welcome tray with treats from the local bakery and also toys and treats for our fur babies. Such a lovely, thoughtful touch. From our stay last year, Gabby and Tim remembered it was my husband's Birthday and a card and gift were left too. This was such a lovely thing to do and we are so grateful. They really are the most lovely, friendly and accommodating hosts. The area is so quiet and peaceful. We loved every moment spent here. It is the perfect location if you want to stay somewhere quiet with lots to do nearby. Thank you for another amazing stay. We cannot wait to return!

The apartment was in a quiet, peaceful location. It was clean, modern and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities excellent. Gabby, the host, was very kind and helpful and there were several nice little extras like complimentary cakes and milk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Very easy to find, great instructions to get in. Really comfy bed and was very clean, tidy and everything you could want for a short stay. Particularly well stocked utensils in the kitchen etc and the bathroom towels/robes etc were great. Cute cats!

this place is amazing! we stay away at least twice a month and this place is by far best place we have ever been! everything such luxury and comfort and the bed and linen was real luxury! hosts are wonderful and caring leaving fresh milk cakes and even dog treats! will definitely be back again! 5 star for sure!

Absolutely nothing! Everything was just lovely.

I cannot say enough how perfect this little studio was! The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, even bringing up some extra toiletries which we forgot to bring along. Although it was small, the attention to detail was impeccable. The bathroom was bright and modern. All of the kitchen cabinets were incredibly well stocked and organized. There was plenty of tea and coffee, as well as fresh local milk in the fridge and a little selection of treats from a nearby bakery. We also had the most delicious dinner of our entire holiday at The Farmers Arms down the street - the food and atmosphere were exceptional. My husband and I would 10/10 stay here again, and we'll recommend it to friends visiting Cornwall.

Everything! The apartment is immaculate. It is beautifully presented, spacious and comfortable. The added homely touches such as the softest robe I have ever worn was the icing on the cake. Fresh milk in the fridge along with a tray of treats upon our arrival was perfect after a long day of travelling. We instantly fell in love with our home for the week. Information was available about the local area and included dog friendly beaches, pubs etc for the fur babies. All the facilities were top notch. The waterfall shower was absolutely amazing. What a feature! The balcony area is fully secure and catches the sun all afternoon, lots of time spent sunbathing during the heatwave! Our hosts were also amazing. So friendly and welcoming to both us and our four legged children. We were made to feel completely at home for the whole stay. We cannot wait to return!
