For a property on the High road it was remarkably quiet. Great minibar with homemade fudge.

Water pressure in the shower wasn't great. Mini bar snacks in a lovely basket but not clearly stated that they where not complimentary. Nearly ate a bar of chocolate without checking.

The room was great lots of facilities. Hotel receptionist was fantastic after a phone call saying we would be late for check in, due to transport issue, she advised us not to worry and it would be OK.

It’s on a busy road (South Circular) so traffic noise noticed by my Mum. I happily slept through it. It is London, after all.

Beautiful pub and upstairs rooms. Great British boozer character. Good value considering Coronation weekend in London.

Nice spacious room with lots of sunlight. Even though the hotel was next to the street the room was quiet. Location is in a walking distance to the train and bus stations. There is a pub downstairs where you can order food/beer.

Maybe, both bed cushions were synthetic (hard). Providing 1 soft feather cushion each would be an improvement.

We had to advise that our sink was blocked, the staff were extremely helpful and sorted it out instantly. Unfortunately the shaver socket wasn’t working. This couldn’t be fixed straight away but the staff were apologetic and tried to find us an adapter plug for our electric toothbrush. I needed an early breakfast as I was running the London Marathon. The staff were very accommodating and packed me a breakfast box to have in our room. Very comfortable bed. What

The common areas need a repaint as there are signs of west! The building us amazing and the pictures tell a story!

The water in the basin took ages to drain we prefer a shower to a bath with shower as there is little room to move. Behind the shower curtain. Also the wifi was very poor and kept cutting out. The food in restaurant was excellent , the building is beautiful the staff are friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast great! We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and wanted to return on business however the wifi would be a problem so might have to rethink this. Shame because a lot of positives.

We left very early the next morning. We didn't stay long enough so unable to provide anything that stood out. However, it is a very lovely inn.

Check in process went well. We arrived late and they were able to accommodate us, in addition we had a very delicious dinner in their pub. The rooms were very nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Better shower.

Spacious room, lots of hot water and a good coffee machine! The continental breakfast met all our needs with (again) good coffee. Efficient quick check-in checkout. Thank you.

The shower leaked through the bathroom which was the only issue.

The Suite room was spacious and well equipped. It was one of the biggest rooms I’ve had in London. Staff were friendly and always happy to help.

It was my daughters civil ceremony which was across the road from the hotel. The hotelier supported me and my daughter in allowing family member to get ready and very accommodating they were all welcoming and very helpful

Hum in the bedroom from neighbouring room which didn't stop. Bathroom in need of tlc and cleaning could do with some attention (hairs in bathtub)

Booked as said "pets allowed" however then staff told me on arrival they did not accept cats!! had to make emergency arrangements on site...very difficult.The write up should say "dogs only allowed!" to avoid such stress for others Plus the welcome basket is misleading looks like its a free gift and its only when you read the welcome book you realise you pay for each item used.
