This is the second time we have stayed at The Black Dog Inn. We love it here and can't wait to stay again. The rooms are lovely, modern and clean. All staff are lovely and friendly and the food is exceptional. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We loved our stay here. The newly refurbished bedroom and bathroom are gorgeous! We arrived earlier than our check-in time and were shown straight to our room. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Such a peaceful getaway, I'd definitely book to stay here again.

A small gripe,we had a overhead shower which was no issue for me but for the ladies hair it was a issue and would probably benefit from simply providing disposable shower caps.

Exceptionally clean ,staff very pleasant and accommodating food was excellent and presentation and choice of breakfast was outstanding and delicious .

The shower wasn't easy to figure out. Kept going hot/cold so had to keep changing whilst using. Other than that everything was spot on.

Cosy pub. Food was so good.. Balcony in the room overlooking farm animals, very peaceful. Large room with coffee machine. Breakfast was very good! All staff were very nice. Made us feel welcome.

Our stay at this bed & breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. The breakfast served was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, a true feast for the senses. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The attention to cleanliness throughout the establishment was evident, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. We can't wait to return!

The staff were so helpful and friendly, the facilities were fantastic. Everything you could need, so clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, so tasty and good value for money. Breakfast in the morning was amazing the food was very well presented and excellent quality food. Loved the big pot of tea and big mug just what you need in the morning. The owners offered help at every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble. All staff were friendly and excellent service. Excellent value for money.

We lost the signal for the TV on the saturday night. The bar closes around 9pm which we weren't aware of but overall not a big issue in the grand scheme of things.

The room was excellent with a great little coffee machine, nice and bright and was furnished to a high standard. Bathroom was well designed. The evening meal only consists of burgers with sides but probably the best burgers we have had. Breakfast was fantastic as was the overall service of the staff.

Couldn’t fault it

We had a lovely nights stay here, all of the staff were so helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast was exceptional- everything was so fresh and great quality, very reasonably priced for such high standards throughout, highly recommend!

We stayed whilst visiting the zoo and stayed in the family room. The layout made it feel like we had our own little spaces even though we were still in one room. Loved that we had a little balcony area and the bath was great! Coffee machine a really nice touch. We booked a table for food in the evening an the burgers were great and all the staff were really lovely. Breakfast the next day was really good, an the chef made what my daughter wanted for breakfast as she can be fussy, an she loved all the fresh fruit. The lady at breakfast was lovely and chatty too. Great communication once booked really friendly. Would definitely come back and recommend. Didn’t take many photos but have attached a few. :-)
