Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThere was some mould in the bathroom,and it's certainly not an aesthetic room for pics. But it's a cheap place to sleep in a fairly comfortable bed.
This is a value for money room. It wasn't perfect; it could do with being updated etc, but the bed was clean and free of bed bugs. The toilet and sink worked (I didn't use the shower) and it's in a good location. The door locked and unlocked, and the staff were friendly.

United KingdomThe strand is what it is cheap and cheerful for the price is all you can expect,bed was clean and the room was warm but very old no where to hang your clothes only get 2 towels for a 3night stay and if your not good with stairs get a room on a lower floor because the top floor is a killer to get to, there's no toilets in the bar so have to go to your room if you need one,all in all was ok but could do with a deep clean and handles replacing and a lick of paint, would want to stay any longer than 3 nights.

United KingdomI couldn't see out of the window because the glass was all opaque, as if the room used to be a bathroom. The wifi signal was very unstable. Sometimes it was okay but at peak times it was constantly dropping out.
This place was excellent value for money, at least on the weeknights when I stayed. The hosts, who have only recently taken over, were very pleasant and friendly. My room was comfortable, with generous drinks supplies, and it was lovely and warm all the time, for which I was very grateful as the weather was foul during my stay. The location is very close to South Pier tram stop.

United KingdomVery strong smell of weed and smoke. I was with my child and we have asthma, so it wasn't great.. On the last night of our stay (Friday), we didn't get a pick of sleep until about 5.30am as there was a continuous party/ gathering happening below us. Bathroom, especially shower really needs updated, although the water was nice and hot...plus ceiling tiles are in real need of changing.
Great location. Right beside South Pier, Velvet Coaster and Pleasure Beach. Bar area very nice and welcoming, it has been done to a high standard. Staff very friendly, invited us to a Halloween party which was thoughtful. Bed very comfy and clean, we slept well apart from one night. Coffee/ toiletries provided.

United KingdomStairs. Room wasn’t very good. Double and single bed. Single sheet had big stain on it. Lot of dust on the double bed. Tv didn’t work first night and no wardrobe or chest of drawers to hand clothes in. Just what looked like book cases. Window latch was broken so really cold as radiators didn’t work so had single and double duvet on. View outside window had pigeons nesting in the pipped and was very dirty.
It looked ok on the ground floor but I was right at the top and had a heavy suitcase to go up 50stairs. The did offer to help me.
