We paid for superior rooms, which should have a mini bar, bottled water and upgraded toiletries. Unfortunately these things were missing even though we asked at reception and they said they would sort them out. Good job the view was good. Not worth the extra money.

We had booked 7 rooms for the group, on one of the mornings 2 of the rooms on level 6 had no hot water. The breakfast was good however, the hot food was brought out in small dishes so got emptied by other guest very quickly. Appreciate that this is probably to ensure less waste and that the food is hot but this created a queue for the hot food as you couldn't get all items first time, you needed to wait for food to be replenished.

Room was decent, perfect for a short weekend away with friends. good location, only a short walk to major attractions. Breakfast was very nice, good options and all the hot food was freshly cooked.

A used sanitary towel was left in the bathroom bin. We contacted the desk and the very helpful lady apologised but I was surprised by the fact that this person was the one who had to do the cleaning in the bathroom. No cleaning staff at night?

Breakfast very expensive. Bar snacks and hot drinks took nearly an hour to arrive. We ordered lemon tart at £5.95 and what arrived was in a small soggy pastry case that looked "mr kipling-ish " .

Location is great for the waterfront and Liverpool one.

Having paid for a superior room sent to standard one, and inconvenience it then caused. Coffee making machine did not work, had no instructions, tried everything but no good. Panoramic view was great but windows need cleaning somehow. Breakfast a bit disorganised, no cutlery or condiments, no one clearing table. Reception had only one staff attending to clients whilst two others talking and a queue waiting

Room was small bathroom was very small it all just felt cramped for only two people and the walls are too thin we could hear next rooms conversations we were in an upgraded room as they said but didn’t feel like it the breakfast was very poor (cold) and had to wait for things to be replenished I wouldn’t even say it was busy. There was close parking but wasn’t given clear enough directions for their parking and so ended up in the wrong one. Thought I was getting a good deal on the price for a hotel(chain) that has a good reputation but disappointed that I was only saving a few £ compared to a chain over the road but at least I know for next time.

There was no body wash in shower the 2 nights we stayed there. We had to go out and buy some. The iron just leaked all over the place. Only lamps in the room no big light and one of the lamps did not work. We went down for breakfast at 8am each morning and the scrambled egg and beans were just warm

The location close to docks and Matthew Street and we could walk from Lime Street Station. Bed comfy beautiful view from our room and the room was huge

Adult pool should be for Adults , A lot of familys using the pool with small children . This did not spoil our stay . Just an observation .

Hate hotel rooms with windows that don’t open. I can imagine even with air con it could be stuffy in the warm weather with no fresh air.

Could hear the couple next door arguing. Informed reception they went up but they continued. Walls are paper thin and we could hear each word. Lifts were also ridiculously slow and we struggled getting one.

Towel in my room was dirty as it has used before sent to my room. No shower gel in the bathroom , We used hand wash gel to take shower.

We had a bad nights sleep and left early due to an issue with the toilet . The staff did attend to sort however on leaving the receptionist didn’t offer any compensation just said sorry
