Bull Bay is only small with no shops to get the necessities ie bread , milk , newspaper which meant trip into Amlwch.

Carol and Mike were lovely hosts , nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was fine and comfortable close to small shingle beach. Lovely garden area to take in the sun plus seats outside front of our apartment .

A little bit dissapointed with the sea view, you had to lean out of the window to see it.

Michael and Carol were fantastic hosts, wine and chocolates on arrival. They both helped us carry our luggage up to the 4th floor.

We knew it would be self catering, all that is missing is a local walking distance pub. Hotel up the road is nice but just some where to have a sit a chat and nice drink.

Nothing we didn't like

The hosts were wonderful, couldn't do enough for us. Very friendly and helpful. Always checking if we were ok and if we needed anything. We were even treated to some delicious homemade scones. View from the back was over fields with sheep and rabbits, and the bay and sea from the front. Very peaceful and restful stay, perfect. Highly recommended.

The B & B is right by the sea and the Coastal Path, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to go hiking or want to be in nature, away from big crowds or tourists. The hosts Mike and Carol were lovely! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even helped us change a flat tire and contact the rental car company and made sure the car got fixed.

Exceptional apartment with everything we needed. It was an ideal base for walking the North Angelesey Coastal Path. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at The Anchorage again and would recommend to family and friends.

Comfortable apartment, well equipped with beautiful views. Location is perfect, there is a nice hotel bar and restaurant in walking distance and picturesque walking paths on the doorstep. Sods law, the weather was gloriously sunny the week after I left.

The location is beautiful and ideal for peace and quiet, walking, kayaking and scuba diving. Dolphins and seals can be seen at times in the sea close to shore. Plenty to see and do. Locals very friendly and good choice of places to eat.
