Mike was there to meet us and showed us around our apartment. They'd thought of everything you could possibly need. Mike gave us a list of recommendations for places on the Island to visit and also ideas of where we could eat out locally. Mike and his lovely wife were around incase of problems (there weren't any). We'd definitely recommend anyone to stay here. It's in a lovely location with walks from the door and parking opposite on a quiet road.

- Motion sensor light in the ensuite bathroom didn't stay on for very long. - Wasn't quite sure how to leave items for recycling instead of general waste.

- Parking directly opposite hotel. - Self-catering facilities in room. - Staff were very friendly and welcoming. - Coastal path only a few metres down the road. - Good view from my room window. - Calming decor.

The warm welcome, immaculately clean, everything worked, nice peaceful location with good pub nearby , the little thoughtful touches like the wine, chocolates and milk . Easy parking

The rooms were warm, comfortable and as good as being at home. Mike and Carol also added that extra element to make our visit extra special.

Having to leave for home! Seriously, I couldn't fault it. Even the advice we got for eating out and finding our way around was great.

Hosts were exceptionally welcoming. Property was beautifully maintained inside and out. Parking was easy. Basic essentials supplied on arrival. Milk, coffee, tea, cleaning equipment, laundry, smart TV in lounge and bedroom, hair dryer.... Oh and chocolates with a bottle of prosecco!

Ideal location for Coastal walks. Only 100m to the bay and a nice pub for food only a 10 minute walk away.

The only suggestion we have is that the lighting on the stairs was a bit dim and could probably do with being a bit brighter, but that's a minor point.

Everything about our stay was great. Hosts couldn't be better, big clean apartment fully equipped and very clean. The bay was a thirty second walk away. It's was perfect for our kayaking and coastal walks were brill.

When we stay again we will book an apartment on a lower level. Lots of stairs, something to consider if you have health problems, though Mike did help us with the bags.

A stones throw from the beautiful quiet little Bull Bay. Lovely apartment, very comfortable stay. Mike was a great host, couldn't do enough for us, we will definitely be back!

Nothing! My room was cleaned every day, the chocs etc were an uplifting bonus and they really made me feel at home.

It was self-service but milk chocolates and a bottle of wine came as a bonus.

On this occasion I was just a little let down by construction workers from the nearby solar power site. They tended to congregate on the fire escape outside my windows, so little privacy, meaning I couldn't have the bathroom window open or blind up as they can see directly in, they were outside very early in the morning smoking and talking before going to work, and then in the evening, until dark and late much the same. A 'No Smoking' establishment, but this doesn't apply to the fire escape sadly allowing cigarette smoke to waft in through the windows.

The Anchorage is a bit of a regular stay for me... ideally situated for everything I need to do on the island. The room is ideal with a decent en suite and lovely views of the hillside with sheep grazing to the rear. Everything you need in the kitchenette and Mike's always welcome bottle of wine and box of chocolates in your room on arrival.

There was nothing we didnt like

Apartment was spotless and the extras like the bottle of red wine and a box of chocolates was a great touch when we arrived. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

The host, Mike, was so welcoming and helpful. The apartment is lovely. The welcome bottle of wine and chocolates are a lovely treat he even thinks of fresh milk for the guests.. The little anchor souvenir from Mike even brought us luck racing 🇮🇪🏁
