Well organised, I had to download an app for the smart lock which was really easy and meant we couldn’t forget or lose a key. Free parking also all arranged before we arrived and lots of on street parking so no worrying about extortionate car parking in the city centre. Good location, 25 minute max walk to the city centre. Lovely decor, the house is nicely finished throughout.

We (three adults and two children) loved our stay at Swan House. It was both cosy and modern, and was spotlessly clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. The Christmas decorations were a nice extra touch, together with other thoughtful touches, like milk on the fridge and trays in a jar on the counter. We would definitely stay here again if we visit York.

The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and really nicely furnished, beds were very comfortable. The house is situated about a 20 min walk from the city centre and very quiet at night. Fiona the host was very good making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely book again

There is only 1 permit available on the street for parking. So if you're meeting up here with 2 vehicles, you'll need to find somewhere else for the 2nd car. And, this place only has 1 bathroom, but these are really small cons for a place with a lot of pros!

Location is perfect, right next to York train station! Super Cosy place, great dining table to sit at with friends after a long day seeing the sights. Very clean! The host, Fiona, even left us a sweet treat on arrival. Really warm welcome after a long journey.

Upon our arrival the owner was thoughtful enough to leave a lovely surprise in the fridge for everyone in our group. Also enough beverages to start us off.

A perfect location, 20mins stroll into York centre. From the moment you arrive you have the homely feeling to just kick off your shoes and relax. It is beautifully decorated and clean and tidy throughout.

I’m not sure anything could have been better, we had a issue with the door lock system but that problem was quickly and efficiently resolved by the owner and her husband and was definitely not something we would complain about or that would put us off recommending this property to family and friends. All in all an excellent property.

We loved the house and how warm and inviting it felt. The house was immaculate and the personal touches were lovely. The house had everything you needed during your stay, information about the appliances, bins, towels etc were helpful and well displayed.

Perfectly located on a quiet street within walking distance of York city and just a short walk to the railway station. Very thoughtfully equipped and probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed! Had a wonderful 3 night stay here and would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting York.

The apartment is very well equipped and beautifully decorated apartment which made us felt just like . The host left detailed instructions before checking in which made the process pretty smooth and easy. It was a shame that we couldn't have stayed longer!

Lovely, comfortable home which was exceptionally quiet and immaculate. It was beautifully decorated and the free parking was easy and right outside the door. It was within walking distance of the city. Fiona was quick to respond to any questions I had and was very helpful and friendly including tips on where to eat.
