The location was lovely, a beautiful view of the hills and nice walks nearby. The flat was clean, modern, pretty and very well equipped. The owners made themselves available and were very helpful.

Very steep parking which we managed, but could be challenging for less confident drivers.

Property itself was clean, spacious and had all facilities that we expected. It was very well furnished too. It had a small outside table and chairs to enjoy the sunshine too.

This is a personal choice, but the bed is a small double/queensize, so our sleep although ok, could have benefitted from a larger bed, as we found it a tad uncomfortable, although not enough to not go back, as the benefits outweighed this part.

Location was excellent. There was everything needed for our short stay and communication beforehand was top notch. Owners were really nice people. Wifi was perfect.

The parking was a little tricky but David & Joanne had explained it would be best to reverse onto drive as it is on a slope. They hope to improve on the parking situation.

We stayed for two nights, one night on the way to Wales and one night returning from Wales. The property was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with all mod cons and the shower was amazing. Thank you David & Joanne for a wonderful stay.

The parking on a hill. Luckily my car is small. Would have liked to know about dog fee and car charging fees before my stay.

Very clean, modern and neat. Spacious. Wifi good. Shower was divine! Lovely and warm apartment. Owner was next door and very kind. Note to say we could knock if we needed anything which was lovely.

There was very little to dislike. Plans to convert the unmade-up driveway in front of the place into a garden area will add further improvement. Other than this we were very much happy with our stay and will keep this place top of our list when we visit the area again.

Bright and airy, the place is well thought out, equipped and decorated in a simple, welcoming and cozy way. Although just a short distance to the main road it is tucked far enough away for peace and quiet. We particularly liked being able to fling open the patio doors and windows to let the gentle breeze flow through. Whilst words from the owners were thoughtful, thorough and friendly (and we knew they were there if we needed anything) there was total respect of our privacy, which we also appreciated.

Jo was an excellent host, providing really clear and helpful info in advance and on the day. She kindly provided a blow up bed for my son, as well as covers. Lots of nice biscuits in the apartment, which is always welcome.

Lovely accomodation, everything was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The owners were super helpful in advance of our arrival and gave very detailed instructions and advice. We were only there for one night but would have happily have stayed longer.

The lack of public transport. The apartment was a long way from the railway station. Only one bus (Stagecoach no. 54) was available at 14.20 from a 1/4 to 1/2 mile walk from the station. There was no suitably timed bus for the return journey on Monday morning. The noise from trains especially the trains' horns which were used until late evening. There were no shops nearby, or near the station hence needing to take provisions from home.

I provided my own breakfast. I carried everything from home except for milk, butter, sugar, salt and pepper which were provided. I found that tea bags and coffee were supplied. Instruction was given on the operation of the electric hob and the shower. Both the owners of the apartment were friendly and very helpful. The apartment was immaculate. The owners met request for a blanket instead of a duvet on the bed The bedroom was at the back of the apartment so road traffic noise could not be heard.

The property is on a very narrow and hilly road so driving is a little difficult. The only way in to the property is by reversing uphill between some brick walls so you need to be quite confident at reversing.

Ideal village location yet short drive to National Trust properties and gardens and a short walk to Stroud Brewery Tap. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and comfortable.

A microwave is the only thing not on site which would be useful but everything else is included if you wanted to do full self catering.

I hope the parking may be improved in due course. We managed with the helpful pre-trip information and a medium sized car. It would have been more difficult if we had used our estate car.

The location was perfect for us as we could walk to The Ship at Brimscombe for an event we were attending. The property is finished to a very high standard and has a lovely outlook across the valley.

The only issue we had was the bed wasn't the comfiest and my husband is 6ft so his feet were hanging off the end. But that's not your fault!

We liked everything, it was pretty much everything we wanted! I think a rug in the living area would take it to the stars but I'm being really picky, it was a fab place!
