The property was amazing, stunning views, extremely spacious and had every thing you could need or want.. Plus more. Lots of books, films, games readily available. Comfy living room, huge clean bedrooms and a kitchen with everything available. This meant we were happy to cook for ourselves each night and enjoy such a fantastic place to stay. Nothing could beat the view, waking up in the morning and looking out the windows to that just made you happy. We will definitely be back.

Host shared very clear and detailed information about the location of the property on the day of our visit. The property is located with beautiful views which can’t disappoint even if the weather had other ideas! Lights had been put on so that we didn’t arrive in darkness and we always came back to enjoy a warming fireplace, and easy to operate with clear instructions left. Also a very thoughtful idea to allow the use of a parking pass which although not used as much was still a lovely idea.

The only issue I had was that I was unable to bring my cat - it would have been perfect were I able to bring my cat.

The location was great - the views from the property are amazing and the fact that the property could accommodate 6 ppl was great. I can’t fault the property at all.

Sadly our upstairs neighbours came equipped with with hob-nail boots and seemed to enjoy stomping around the place at ungodly hours during the night. This meant our sleep wasn’t the best - but obviously this was no fault of the host or the property. Just a bunch of inconsiderate morons.

Location is amazing. The place is really big with all the facilities you need and more. Super friendly host with great communication before visit. Loved the place!!!

Beds were a little bit squashy. Top shelves in the kitchen were a bit high for the vertically challenged amongst us - a step stool would be handy.

Just FYI for others, not a complaint. We stayed on ground floor, the people staying upstairs were stomping around pretty loud until late at night but I think it was more the people than the place itself, I'd say most of the time you wouldn't hear a peep with slightly more sociable behaviour. Also would prefer if there was a separate recycling bin rather than having to take it to town yourself as it would encourage sustainability, but very minor point. Still 10/10 and will 100% stay again

There could have been non-metal cooking utensils for the non-stick cookware, as we want to keep them in good condition for the next guests. Also could have been a little clearer about what exactly is included, e.g. toilet roll refills are not included (but the host was very nice and gave us some anyway!)

All the rooms were very cosy, clean and comfortable. There was also plenty of shared space in the kitchen and living room for us to hang out together, and the kitchen was well-equipped for us to make all our meals. The view from the property is amazing. The host is very accommodating and helpful, and their dogs are very friendly and well-behaved.

This property was perfect for our stay, we were more than happy and would definitely stay here again. The rooms were a great size, beds comfy, pillows comfy, all furnishings clean and comfy. We stayed here as a base for some local hiking and the location was ideal, walking distance to Catbells and other local hikes/walks. We stayed during February and the property was easy to heat / warmed up very quickly once heating put on. Always plenty of hot water, a really decent over the bath shower and good sized bath. Toys and books available to use, our children really enjoyed all the old annuals (beano, dandy etc). The host was friendly and if we would of have any issues I feel confident they would have resolved them quickly, but everything was great so no problems.

The heating didn't appear to be adjustable and left the place a little cold at times. While there was a note to say the heaters warmed the place effectively at the setting, and we found this to be true, after a while, the heaters either turned off or we acclimatised and were left feeling a little chilly.

The house was beautiful and the location spectacular. The house was very roomy, excellent for 3 adult travellers with plenty of space for more people still left. The host also provided milk, biscuits, tea and coffee which was a lovely token and greatly appreciated.

Beautiful location, spectacular views, ten minute drive into Keswick town centre. Good communication with the owner David re directions and how to access the key safe. The property was far bigger than expected, very cosy and exceptionally clean.

large spacious property with everything you could need for your stay (cleaning equipment, toilet rolls, games, films, books etc). The property was in a beautiful location with fabulous views. David the host was great, came out to greet us on arrival and we also arrived to milk in the fridge, teabags, coffee and cake. Excellent value for money, we will be visiting again
