No meal options other than the main three course menu. Smaller snack options would have been good for us.

Second stay here. It was as impressive as was the first visit. Brilliant staff. Friendly and helpful. We had a dog with us and she loved the attention she got from everybody. She was made to feel very welcome. Lovely comfortable room and really good breakfast.

Only programmes on the TV selling things all night long. Have they been updated with Freeview! The window was open by some inches and proved impossible to close. The rod in the sink would not work to release water.

The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and well appointed shower room. The lavatory brush was an old metal design and was quite dirty. I did not find the information folder until I was ready to leave next morning as it was on the bottom shelf of the left side lamp table as you stand at the foot of the bed looking at it; I was on the right side so maybe it could be left laying on the bed so people notice it etc.

On First impression the hotel was very clean. Dinning, room, toilets had no dust at all. We were very lucky to have a room with air con which was great in the heat.

The room was overheated for a small area. An unpleasant conversation overheard in the dining area at breakfast.

The spa was lovely and the staff were attentive. Our evening meal was very nice.

second time visiting this beautiful building. Right in the centre of Midhurst, amazing spa facilities and exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms are individual and there is so much history.

Room was on the ground floor and we had some loud traffic noise late at night. Glad to have a fan provided in the heat.

All the Staff were friendly and very helpful. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool after a very hot day. We were allowed to leave our car for a few hours while we visited a nearby National Trust Garden. Delicious full breakfast.

No air con. And a very hot night. A fan was provided but didn’t make much difference. Clearly not the hotel’s fault. Listed building and unspoilt.

Location was great. Midhurst is very interesting. Hotel was very old and characterful. Room was quiet and well appointed. Very comfortable. Staff made a real effort to make us welcome and service was great.

Food in general was not great. we would have liked a more varied menu for dinner. Also the cooked breakfast wasn't freshly cooked

The lack of ventilation in the room, I think it could get a little stuffy on a very hot day.

Breakfast was exceptional, as were all the facilities. The room was extremely comfortable and big for a 'cosy' room, Room 11, plenty of space for the dog. Staff also provided treats, bed and bowls for the dog. Spa is lovely, especially the outdoor part, so peaceful. This was my second stop and can't wait to go again.

children are only allowed in the pool at 10:30 in the morning but check your is at 11 so that seemed unfair to use the pool and have a few mins to just change before checking out. I wish I was informed that the children’s meal was going to cost me £43 for steak and chips. The waiter told me if she wants something from the adult menu we could accommodate and my daughter said can I have steak and chips. I didn’t think to say how much will that cost so I was a bit shocked to see I was charged £43 for a ten year old steak but I should have asked.

Pool was lovely, location fantastic and food great.

The electric chargers were to expensive. They should be available to customers on a credit card basis. Having to log in and pay a deposit for something that may not be used again is not a good idea and may prevent an EV user coming back!

The tables weren't set up ready for breakfast when we arrived. It wasn't explained to us that there was cereal, orange juice etc in the room next door. We noticed on our way out. It was a tasty cooked breakfast though

Really friendly greeting. Made to feel welcome. Room upgrade which was an unexpected treat. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Spa was lovely, clean and great products. Delicious dinner and good service.
