The property is superbly located right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and a five minute walk from the pub. Karen is a lovely host and made sure the heating and electric blankets were on prior to our arrival. It’s very peaceful being located away from the road and overlooking Karen’s fields and large hill(almost a mountain) behind. Good sized lounge/kitchen and bedroom with a comfy bed. Bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Microwave, toaster, two ring hob, and oven in the kitchen. Effective heaters and also gets very warm in the sun (If you’re lucky enough to get some). Perfect for couples.

Absolutely amazing stay in a beautiful lodge that is so cosy, warm and comfortable. Everything you need is there. Host very welcoming. The view and surroundings are wonderful. Such a lovely relaxing stay and hope to visit again….amazing

Nothing I loved everything about this property.

Beautiful little rustic, vintage wood cabin that’s very secluded and peaceful. Filled with gorgeous art work and vintage furniture. I loved waking up to the sound of the birds singing and the rain on the roof top surrounded by this and lots of land decorated with flowers and other quirky little ornamental bits was my idea of heaven. I loved the porch and how dark it got of an evening and if it was a clear night we probably would have got to see the Milky Way ✨✨ a very romantic venue which felt like a home from home, very cosy and clean with everything you need and I cannot wait to visit again in the summer time. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Karen the owner is lovely and very friendly we even got a glimpse of a couple of horses and the two family dogs. I loved it here.

Just needed a couple more utensils in the kitchen, like wooden spoon, an oven proof dish and a non stick saucepan . Otherwise perfect!

The location was great, total privacy, and I had everything I needed for my stay, including great bed and a fully functional kitchen.

A very minor issue would be to know what bits and bobs are available (e.g. cafetiere, etc) to make it easier to know what to pack. And maybe an extra blanket on sofa.

Great location, quirky and cosy Lodge. Secluded and safe but excellent base to explore. Local pub had tasty food and friendly atmosphere. Great for self catering as had oven, grill, microwave etc. In beautiful scenic land. Friendly and helpful host. It was a bit chilly but we had 2 heaters and electric blanket for bed heating.

Just some thoughts. List of instructions how to use oven, microwave and tv for those who do not live in the uk. Water was unnecessary hot. A sign needs to be put on the driveway to say songbird lodge.
