Hot water was in my opinion far too hot, and could be dangerous for young children. Personally I found the bed in the main bedroom was not as comfy as expected. Overall it was a great place to stay and I will recommend it to family and friends. Thank you Lynne and Andrew.

Location was pleasant. Very quiet and relaxing. So nice to listen to the sound of silence. It had a well equipped kitchen, and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Lounge was great. Very comfy suite. Bedrooms were lovely too.

Difficult to turn the electric shower on as the button was stiff, but the shower itself was great and powerful

Cooking was good but the knives were very blunt. Has an electric switch off due a metering issue. Had to call owner to reconnect with a paid key fob.

Has all amenities. Bathtub was a bit slippery. Has a washing machine but no dryer.

Property needs a little TLC, but comfy enough.

Communication was good. Hosts very responsive. Plenty of space for all of us. Keys were in a lock box, so easy to get in. Property surrounded by beautiful countryside, and 5 mins drive or 30 mins walk from Caernarfon.

No TV we had to watch the DVDs in the evening which was OK as we were only there fir the weekend.

Lovely cottage with a great garden and a parking space. Beautiful views if you take a little walk down nearby lanes. Beds are amazingly comfortable.

Parking is an issue at this property. I was expecting off road parking as the property is advertised as having free parking, but this is not guaranteed (see below). I had a run in with the neighbour at number 3 when I asked if he could move his car forwards briefly so I could get my small rental car into the small space. He refused to help. The house on the other side (number 5) had a huge car that encroached on the space outside number 4, but I couldn't ask them to move it as it was an electric car and was charging. I ended up having to park quite a way down the road. Would have been fine if I had a Mini or Smart car but my economy rental Hyundai i10 didn't fit with a big car at number 5. Have added photo with arrow showing the end of the parking space. Cars need to be parked to the left of the white line on the wall. I contacted the owners about this, and they were lovely, but nothing could be done to ease the parking problem.

Very clean and well presented cottage in a great location for exploring North Wales. Beds were comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, plenty of space for me and my mum. The property met my expectations, but the parking did not.

The bath wouldn’t drain properly, no taps on the bath. The mattress wasn’t that comfortable with springs sticking out. The couch needs a good wash down.

The location was great, easy to get into town or go to the beach. Great house size, the little add extras were appreciated.

A small ammount of items in the kitchen would create a warmer welcome. Just simple items to make a tea or coffee for clients who have traveled a long way....just a suggestion.

A few items that would have been useful include a teapot, milk jug and toast rack. And a few more coat hangers! Three between two people is not enough. A friendly call or email to check that we had everything we needed would have been appreciated.

This is a traditional small terrace cottage, nicely modernised and with most of the facilities you need for a short stay.

This small mid-terrace house is described as "superb" and "five star". I'm afraid "five star" is way too ambitious, it needs maintenance (for example, dining chairs falling apart) and the garden sorting out. Generally though it is fine.

This property is very well placed to visit Caernarfon and district and is on a quiet country road.

the open fire could not be used and there were no taps on the bath. I had only booked the property because it showed an open fire snd bath. there was nothing to say these were not functioning on the website. Also some glasses were missing the fridge was partially broken and the pans were in poor condition. the baking tray would not fit in the oven. there was old appliances in the garden and and the garden was uncared for

The parking was difficult and not really enough room in front of the cottage as the man next door had a large van and asked to move our car. There were lots of minor faults in the cottage, which in themselves didn’t cause us a problem, but it was irritating, when they could so easily have been resolved. For example, clothes airer - broken, no useable mop and bucket, bulb missing from lounge with no replacement, tv unit door fell off when you opened it, mirror in bathroom coming loose, bathroom door didn’t close properly, door shelves on the fridge broken, downstairs smoke alarm disconnected. The garden was very untidy with weeds and brambles and the garden furniture was rusty. This is by no means all the problems we found in the property.

A nice sized cottage for two people. The rooms were a decent size and there was an enclosed garden at the rear.

The garden was very tired and uninviting which was a real shame as we would have enjoyed sitting out to have breakfast or an evening relax after a busy day. Thankfully we didn’t have small children as it is not child friendly. Kitchen had a mismatch of crockery and not enough glasses for 4guests. One of the dinning chairs was very wobbly and needed attention. Parking could be a little difficult but we spoke with the neighbour so as not to be a problem.

The style of the property was lovely and the location was great.
