We had bunk beds and the top one was hard for my wife who is very small o get to as there was no proper ladder unless we couldn't find it. I would recommend a little step ladder like they have on the overnight ferries.

Very friendly staff and a great location as it is so close to the Stadium for a concert. Breakfast was great. A very pleasant stay and will definitely go back again.

Could have been cleaner , and breakfast was terrible , we are vegetarians , and when I ask about options was told only meat , was a poor selection , and the little I did plate up , had one mouthful of beans , and they were stone cold , so I left the breakfast and went back to room . This is a huge disappointment , as one of the things I look forward to the most is a nice breakfast when I stay over , I paid over £400 for the hotel , so not cheap , and the reason I chose this hotel , was the buffet breakfast . So I am really disappointed, and with the cleanliness as well not at a great standard, feel I massively paid over the odds for my experience, I would say definitely not value for money , which saddens me , as not one for complaining, but felt compelled on this occasion, I did get refunded for breakfast , but have still paid £400 for hotel that wouldn’t have if I had none how bad breakfast was , and the cleanliness of room was .

Room was very compact, so it was a little tight in space for two people. Could do with blackout curtains, as was a bit light even at night. Lighting in the room/bathroom wasn't great, especially for putting on make up.

Parking can be a pain. John Lewis is £26 for 24 hours. Although a different way for the same length of time walking time is £12.50. Parking in John Lewis as it is 24/7 security cameras not sure about other parking.

Bar was open till quite late, nice little quiet seating area downstairs. Security at doors making sure correct people came in, making you feel safer inside as 24/7 access. Staff were so friendly and polite. Very interactive which is great.

Spaces are compact but for the price you can't ask for more!

The air conditioning was making a noise all night long, reported it Friday evening, again Saturday, to be told the repair man doesn’t work weekends. I did get a part refund, but we had to tolerate it will Sunday when we checked out. I’ve stayed here several times before and has been amazing.

Some of the switches for lights didn't work in the room, although we had enough light so it wasn't really an issue. The water was not a consistent temperature when showering but for what this hotel is trying to provide I did not find a good shower necessary.

The room we got for the price, was great. Granted, it was a little small but it was more than worth it for the price. Felt a little vulnerable with there only being a sliding wall for the toilet door, but understood that this was necessary for the small box style budget room that the hotel is going for. The location was perfect, right by the station and close to the city centre which is exactly what we wanted. This hotel is great for those who just want a cheap and clean bed to stay in after a night out in the city.
