Not a biggy but the traffic noise from the road behind was annoying if your a light sleeper like myself. Not a deal breaker as we will definitely return and ear plugs were provided for each guest.

immaculate, clean and had everything we needed for our weekend there. Carol popped round when we arrived to give us information and help with the Wi-Fi which was a blessing with 2 teenagers. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had all utensils and even a welcome pack of biscuits from the owner. Situated on a well run site the property was dog friendly. We would love to return soon and wished we had booked a longer stay.

Having to leave……… Just a recommendation, drop a hint to guests about maybe needing earplugs, the A6 never sleeps.

Carole and Chris the owners have gone above and beyond guests expectations to ensure they have a very enjoyable stay. Even down to pet blankets and water bowl. We will be definitely be re booking and recommending.

No wifi, but was good to force myself to try switch off which I need to do more often haha

Absolutely gorgeous, so clean and the fittings and decor were modern, high quality, and it was well equipped with essentials. We especially loved the electric fireplace, made it really cosy. We felt really at home and relaxed. The enclosed balcony and decking area was perfect for my 1 year old to run around safely. (Tip - The main bedroom has plenty of room for a travel cot) The bed was also the comfiest i've slept in out of home. Thank-you, we'd love to come again and would recommend to anyone.

When entering the caravan and before leaving the caravan be aware that you need to video record everything as they will charge you after you leave for things that you have not done!

The fact it is dog friendly meant there was a lot of dog hairs left on the sofa and a distinct smell of dog. I do not have a dog, so it was obvious to me

The accommodation backed onto the A6 road and the noise from cars doing 70 mph or more directly behind you (20 yards behind) at 6 in the morning or earlier made for a very disrupted sleep. There was quite a pungent odour from within the van indeed several deodorisers (Neutradol etc) were present when we arrived and we bought scented candles to try to mask the smell. Needs some attention to detail as a few things were faulty or missing (extractor in en suite bathroom, toilet roll holder broken, only 1 toilet brush). In front of the entrance area the concrete had some green algae. As it was quite wet when we stayed it was a real slip hazard. No curtain over side entrance door which meant not total privacy from van next door. No welcome pack/ helpful advice on where to eat, visit or about the site itself (e.g. waste disposal). Big signs at the site waste area about recycling and what you could recycle but no recycling bins!! Left big bag of recycling materials at the area returned 30 minutes later and they had unbelievably been placed in "general waste".....

Very clean and spacious, modern accommodation. Really well laid out, 2 bathroom areas. Nice decking areas though too cold and wet for us this time. Lots of modern fitments and accessories. Not a bad location for the North Lakes.

The property was clean, well equipped and quiet. the site was very clean as well. although not central it was in a good location east to catch the bus to Penrith and Carlisle and only a short drive to other popular locations
