Lack of hangers in closet, had an ant infestation, washroom smelled like pee. Complained to my wife but not to the concierge. Beds are too soft. Should be firmer in my opinion. We stayed in Portugal and edinbrygh and they had firm mattresses.elevator too slow.

The room I stayed had a few stairs to climb. Some difficulties to access with my luggage. Sound isolation not good, clearly hear people walk by as well as activities upstairs.

Great location. 2 minutes walk from Paddington Train station and Elizabeth Line underground. slightly more than 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport. The window is openable; an alternative to the airflow on top of Air-condition. Close to Hyde Park and museums.

The feel of it. I had been misled by the photographs. Perhaps I was naive to expect a large room. It was meant to be a great weekend in London. However, it proved disappointing and I won't be going back there.

The staff, and in particular their welcome and willingness to help, was great. The location is alright - near a (Paddington?) Tube Station, restaurants, Hyde Park and bus routes. But the room overlooked not so pretty roofs/ rooftops, being at the back of the hotel and much smaller than I had expected, which was disappointing. Opening the window wasn't an option. Breakfast was OK, not great.

the room was not suitable for a business trip. I was told that I was upgraded but the room was not appropriate. Maybe a good room for a family but not for working! As you walk into the room, there are stairs to go up to a "sitting area" or living room but the bed area, where there is a huge desk, is extremely small, needed to sit on the bed to reach the desk to do some work. Also, no instructions on how to use the heating, needed to call maintenance to show me where the switch is for the heating...

Lovely staff at reception snd well organised. Comfortable a d clean cosy rooms. Excellent location a 5 min walk from Paddington and the Elizabeth line tube.

Felt quite pokey for the price paid, was expecting something a little more “Grand” given the hotel name. The bathroom had a damaged shower tray which felt like you were on a bouncy castle as you washed.

Even for central London this place is tiny like super tiny. Awkward in corridors but the room as so so small and bathroom felt oppressive

The walls are very thin so I can hear voices from the next room. But no fault of the hotel, I believe most of the establishment in this area are built this way .

The location is good, not too far of a walk from the Paddington station especially if you have luggage to drag along. The lady at the reception (if am not mistaken her name is Stella) was one of joyous check-in we have encountered so far. She even gave us an upgrade to the room with an early check-in. The room was well sufficient for a night stay. I exceptionally liked their bed and pillows. All was clean and well.

Everything makes noise!!! Everywhere you walk. It was annoying you can hear everything around, especially the footsteps from above

First floor did not offer lift for luggage, only a very narrow winding staircase. Staff did help with heavy suitcases.
