Great location. Swimming pool. Room was a reasonable size. Excellent breakfast. Parking was available and included in the price.

The staff were really nice and very helpful. Dinner on Saturday night was exceptional and good value for money. The cooked breakfast was the best hotel breakfast i have had in a long time.

the bedrooms are needing updated, the bed was solid & the pillows were so thin.

It was beautiful, staff were accommodating trying to get our room ready early. Shower was great.

Tired rooms, broken window ( on the way to room 110-115) which looked like it had been broken for some time and covered over with cardboard which kept coming loose.

The breakfast choice was really good but unfortunately the kitchen was closed both nights that we were there. The bar could benefit from more lager/beer choices

The bedroom was spacious but the old widow was above my bed. Freezing especially at night. Need renewed.

Jacquizzi wasn’t working - cold and shower in my room ran cold. I fed this back and was told it would be passed to the manager but I never heard back. Communal unisex changing area with only 1 private cubicle. Bar over priced. £9 ish for a glass of wine.

In the process of being improved. Comfy bed, nice pool. Nice decor. Great breakfast with lots of fresh fruit.

It's a minor thing and probably beyond the control of the hotel, but the water pressure in the showers could have been better.

Pleasant and helpful staff and good facilities for a couple of days away from home.

Carpet in bedroom needs shampooed 216 stain marks , full english breakfast was as if cooked hours earlier and re-warmed

Noisy neighbour and cobwebs see above plus large window overlooked by people walking outside. Privacy not great unless you closed the curtains and put the lights on Perhaps a net curtain or similar would be welcome so that daylight can get into room with out people peeking in No instructions for coffee maker. I worked it out but not having used one of these machines before it was guesswork Shower power at 8am very very poor

The pool and jacuzzi bath lovely. The staff were friendly too. Loved the robe and slippers and toiletries. Close to the high Street with shops cafes etc On the downside Noisy neighbours in the middle of night woke us plus heard their TV on for remainder.of the night. Fortunately I brought ear plugs with me. Plus I noticed large cobwebs hanging down from bathroom ceiling

The hotel is a bit run down needs upgrading although the food is ok the Scottish breakfast was a bit disappointing the haggis was tasteless and it wasn't very warm

The pool and steam room were good then coffee machine in room was a nice touch and the location was good food was ok

Only comment here is it would have helped explain the boarded front window had they put a sign on the board explaining as when you were in hotel none of those renovations impacted your stay 😀

Breakfast was excellent very pleasant dinning room friendly welcoming staff nothing too much trouble and done with ease .
