Plenty of yummy continental brekkie supplies. Tea, coffee facilities and microwave, with crocks n cutlery. Comfy bed, huge wet room, quiet cul- de-sac location. Lovely friendly welcome from Sue & Jim, with plenty of local info if needed. Would definitely stay again if we need accommodation in the area.

If I could give this a 20 I would...Sue is one of the most genuine and hospitable hosts I've probably ever met! Her energy, enthusiasm and generosity is simply second to none!! This is one of Derbyshire's best kept secrets, and i've already started spreading the word! Well done Sue - will definitely be back! xx

Shower: Took me a while to work out how to stop it going hot & cold. Make sure you ask in advance. Tiled floor: Make sure take slippers/ footwear you don't mind getting grit/dog hair on. If you are extremely sensitive to noise, noise does carry through wooden adjoining door & dogs sometimes bark.

A rare property, so blissfully quiet of road noise as in cul-de-sac. Extremely quiet at night. Bed really comfy Huge Shelf unit by bed great for access to stuff Lovely spacious feel, extremly quiet Storage space so felt spacious Plenty of space around bed: no stubbing toes! Plenty of towels, shower gel Beautifully decorated & relaxing space Flexible: able to check in when I arrived early Hosts were down to earth, extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. Went out of their way to be accommodating especially with arrival & departure times. Checking the breakfast was enough/stocked up, quick to help and even helping me double check an issue with my car. Lovely to stay somewhere where you know nothing would be an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely nothing

Sue and Jim were marvellous hosts and a very charming couple. Very accommodating and checking regularly that I was OK and had the necessary food supplies. They were also very conscious of ensuring your privacy as well. A fabulous self contained accommodation with some lovely touches which made it all the more welcoming. I shall definitely stay with Sue and Jim again. Thank you both ever so much.

Due to a mix up with exchange of emails re breakfast requirements Sue collected our requirements on arrival and went to buy them! The breakfast food was very generous and of good quality. The flat was spotless, everything of good quality, quirky with a Spanish feel. The patio was lovely to sit out wirh a drink. Sue was very friendly and helpful, we couldn't have wished for a better experience.

This is only helpful little minor bits of info for the hosts. And new guests staying. Tiled floor means gets very cold when excellent under ground heating is not on. Take slippers as floor tiles are quite sandy/gritty in bare feet. Wooded garden doors needs sealing or maybe some thick curtains hung as lets in cold air when windy.

Fantastic communication from the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. I booked the room for my brother in-law. He was so pleased with everything. Fantastic service throughout for both of us. Would definitely recommend the place and the hosts.

What a great place.The breakfast was all fresh ..fresh milk,orange,bread ...all in plenty and many more items to enjoy. Fantastic couple running the property and decor is Moroccan/China. Outstanding accommodation.Will be back.

Heanor is a bit of a sad place, but if you’re only there for one night the accommodation makes up for it.

There was nothing that we could fault about the apartment.

The location was excellent for us as we were visiting our son who lives nearby. The apartment was very well decorated and the facilities were first class with a comfy bed, two armchairs, microwave, toaster and television. The wet room was amazing with plenty of room and a powerful shower. Lovely view out on to owners garden and free parking right outside. The breakfast was superb with cereal, bread, jam, honey, fruit juice, butter, tea coffee and milk all complimentary - just ask Sue what you want! Sue and Jim were lovely hosts, very unobtrusive so you are left in peace, but always readily available if needed. Would stay again and highly recommend this delightful self contained apartment.

Very friendly and welcoming host. Big and spacious room and bathroom. We were asked for preferences for a continental breakfast and provided with jam, butter, honey, milk, yoghurt, coffee, tea, fruit, bread and cereal. The room contains a kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge as well as crockery. What a lovely stay!
