We bought a ticket for the parking online but then got a fine anyway… So we had to double-buy and bought a “physical” ticket as well. Obviously this isn’t any fault of the host, but maybe it’d be good to send out a warning in the mail on booking - as literally our fine says “no permit displayed” which is obviously impossible for the online ticket! Just a bit of stress on an otherwise wonderful stay.

The location and the apartment were amazing! We will definitely be checking if it is available the next time we travel down that way.

The only 2 things were: the door-windows were hard to open, and the oven seemed to have lost its sealing strip and the markings on the oven controls were partially erased.

No bath plug....a small but important object! Do not unload your car in the large car park in front of the apartment because we got fined £25 by the roving car park attendant. Normal parking there costs £15 a day.

The apartment is very stylish and has plenty of room. The area is a fascinating place to stay and the conversion of the old buildings has been done very well, and there is a good selection of bars and restaurants.

The access process was non existent. On our confirmation it advises Check In Open from 1pm to 9pm that gives the impression that the property has a checkin reception. It doesn't and we were not informed of any key security access process prior to arrival. We arrived the apartment building had no reception and we couldn't access the area as we didn't have a key number , we tried the property contact number with no luck. We waited 45 minutes for a person to exit and only managed to get into the complex by squeezing through as they came out. We then got to our apartment which was locked as expected but quickly found the actual key to the door under the entry floor mat., phew, took the best part of an hour but we were in! When we got inside there was a card with the apartment complex key number to access, of course this wasn't good inside the apartment when we were outside BUT as I say when we got in, wow great accomadation

There was a significant amount of noise on the second morning from renovations from a nearby property.

We really can’t criticise anything - the parking for expensive but we’ll blame the council for that one!

The host was exceptional, they maintained excellent contact from before our arrival and was a lovely, friendly and helpful person. Thoroughly recommend this apartment if you need to visit Plymouth for business or pleasure. We were attending an event at the naval base and Royal William Yard is ideally situated for this. There are many and varied restaurants and bars within easy walking distance at the Yard.

What's not to like? The apartment exceeded our expectations.

Nicky contacted us direct and arranged to meet at the apartment. All went well and Nicky was lovely to deal with. The apartment was larger than expected and larger than others we had stayed in at this location. Bright and spacious with two floor to ceiling windows in the lounge / kitchen on two aspects. The bedroom was comfortable, the whole apartment well appointed and modern and with all that you would need for a short stay or even longer. We loved this apartment and location and would choose to return to this specific apartment when we return to RWY or Plymouth.

Fantastic apartment in a great location with really helpful and friendly meet and greet and owners. Lovely stroll around the clifftop and beach, with a beautiful sunset, followed by dinner in one of the many restaurants nearby. Really good night's sleep, and a good strong cup of tea from the selection provided in the morning. Thank you so much!

A few items needed attention, starting to look tired, ie blinds, door fronts on fridge and freezers, leaking toilet cistern, door lock in the bedroom to balcony. Noise was also an issue and the temperature inside the apartment (too hot) and due to noise, leaving an external door open was not an option.

the property is in Royal Williams which is a great relocation in Plymouth there is a marina there with restaurants and a couple of shops the apartment itself is very smart with great shower comfortable bed and seating loved it
