The hotel is very warm, sometimes uncomfortably so. There is a fan in all rooms which is great, but still too warm which makes it hard to sleep.

The hotel is beautiful and quiet throughout with friendly staff, good facilities, and spacious rooms. Staff are incredibly helpful and attentive.

Only the bed was a little harder than expected 😕 And the breakfast was not very warm and fresh, it needed to be changed over as the period for breakfast is quite long. The food, however, was fresh and tasteful.

The accessibility to the bedrooms, The staff were excellent, The Food at Oscars was the finest food we have had in a while, top chef and highly recommended you go even if it's just for a meal at this hotel..

My only thing to point out is - it’s quite a renowned wedding venue, which is brilliant - but can be a little noisy late at night if a wedding is in full swing - not a complaint just an observation

Great location, very friendly helpful staff. Large room, clean, tidy, well managed hotel. Ample parking. Decent breakfast and coffee on tap

A lovely hotel and grounds. We arrived a little early and our room wasn’t quite ready so we enjoyed a coffee in the brasserie while waiting. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Plenty of on-site parking. We only had a one night stay and would have happily stayed longer.

Seems to be a bit of a problem with cleaning the WC. This is the second time I have stayed in the Hotel and on each occasion the toilet basin had not been well cleaned - what is wrong with providing the house cleaning staff with rubber gloves and a toilet brush? Also , hidden by the net curtain there was a geat deal of mold around the window frame.

Dinner exceptional except didn't get dessert - I think waitress forgot to retrun for my order. Rooom in a quiet part of hotel and on ground floor. Easy, safe parking. Lovely friendly staff.

The wi-fi was extremely poor and the hotel staff could not resolve it. The hotel layout is very poor and it takes a lot of extra time for oneself to get familiar with it !

The rooms were well appointed and good ! The bath was also clean and good ! Breakfast was delicious and so was the dinner ! No complaints on the food, in fact - top marks for it

Good friendly small hotel in village near Chester.

Entrance - Reception poorly signed, and down natural stone path very broken and dangerous in places. Most rooms in modern block, not in country house, and tortuous route to breakfast. No lift to first floor rooms. Switches/wiring in new rooms bizarre - could not have single bedside light on; bathroom light switch not near bathroom door. Breakfast - hot buffet on some days, additional cold buffet on fewer days, table service but no buffets on quieter days with items not available on buffet days! Dressed fresh fruit only on some days. Poor air circulation in room - fan provided to compensate. No tissues, shoe cleaner, or vanity kit, though fixed toiletries good. No phone in room, so could not contact Reception. Intermittent or no signal on mobile phone services. Shower over round-bottomed and deep bath worked well, but hazardous as no grab rail. Excessive postings from parent company shortly before visit promoting extra food and drink spending - negated country house hotel friendliness and out of character. No EV charging, and offer of slow plug-in for £20 quite greedy - never mentioned good facilities at retail outlets nearby for very competitive rates (we recommend using Chargemap app).

Good location - accessible by main road from many directions, while being in a quiet village with walks, pubs, shop and pharmacy. Good - but variable - breakfast (see below). Comfortable room, though poor air circulation as only a small window. Lovely staff.

The room was very comfortable with large fluffy towels. It was spacious, had a smart TV and a beautiful view over the garden. The breakfast was very good - cooked breakfast as well as cereals, fruit etc. We ate dinner in Oscars restaurant there which was excellent - beautifully cooked and well presented. It’s in a beautiful location and would definitely recommend Rossett Hall.

Unfortunately for us, it was very busy on the night of our stay, with a wedding party and other somewhat noisy guests in abundance. The bedroom door locks tend to slam shut hard. Some noisy loud guests going to their rooms late into the evening and well after midnight kept us awake for much of the night. A pity, because in every other respect this is a beautiliful, well run, Hotel, and we absolutely love it.

It was a very busy day, and not everything was available on the continental side, however the cooked breakfast was outstanding in my view.
