Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every respect! It's brand new with all the latest amenities. Location is perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's the best hotel we've stayed at during our three week trip to the UK. The photos are of our room and views from the windows. All the floors are high up on floors 5 thru 8, so great views of the city.

United KingdomWe struggled to actually find the hotel and when we called to speak to reception they weren’t actually very helpful. And just kept repeating St James quarter. But not giving us directions or any more info. So we had to ask a different hotel did they know where Roomzzz was. They did an eye roll cos they get asked all the time. Incase anyone sees this the hotel is located on the 5th floor of the St James quarter shopping centre.
Very clean and tidy, nice room comfortable bed. Very good location wise for us.

The location is great. Not far from Edinburgh Weaverly Train Station and close to Sixt Car Rental where we plan to take the car. It's a great surprise to learn that the hotel is fully connected with the shopping department store where there are lot of shops and restaurants available as choices. Bed and facilities are good. Also, 24x7 coffee & tea machine is a bonus with bakery provided for pick-up in the morning.

United KingdomI struggled to find it. I know the St James area, if it said somewhere "take the lift/escalators to the fifth floor of the St James Centre and its next to the cinema", it would have been simpler.
Great central location. Loads of access to bars, restaurants, entertainment, shops. Spacious room. Everything just worked (TV, casting from devices etc). Nothing to frustrate me. Nice view over Calton Hill.

NetherlandsThe claim that the balconies are monitored 24/7 by a CCTV system and 'continuous patrolling' (all to prevent smoking) does not exactly feel welcoming. A bit strange even.... We had an apartment at the side, with a limited view, mainly on the mall underneath - there are quite likely many apartments with better views though!
