Our room was at the front of the hotel so was a little noisy at times but the plus was the view of the most attractive town

All the staff from check in through to the restaurant and check out were extremely courteous and helpful.

The bed was uncomfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very low. The window in the door needed a blackout shade to darken the room. Too much light came in which made sleeping difficult

Great location. Very good restaurant with excellent breakfasts and dinners.

The doors require a key and you have to lock yourself in at night which if you have to leave quickly,, that could be a safety issue.

The highlight was the Cotswold lamb dinner. It was delicious and the presentation was lovely. Worth the stay alone.

Very small issue which had already been resolved with the complimentary sleep mask, the sun coming through the blinds. A slightly bigger issue… with so many electrical items in the room.. not just the usual lamps but a fan as it was so hot and a coffee machine, it left no sockets for charging phones or hair straighteners. We unplugged the lamps in order to charge phones but that’s all the negatives I can think of. It’s really a lovely place.

Great location, right in the centre of town. The room was lovely…so many complimentary products, we felt very spoiled. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full but it was fine, the staff were lovely and to food divine.

The mattress and pillows on my four poster bed were really comfortable. The only odd thing was the box that the mattress sat in. It meant it was really painful to get out of the bed if you sat on the edge. I figured out how to launch myself in and out without sitting by gripping the wooden edge. I am 67. phew! An older person would want to avoid room 24.

I think most people would really enjoy staying here. It has great atmosphere. Lots of people from all over staying here. There’s east park in as it’s an old coach inn. The food is delicious with lots of choices. All the staff are very helpful. Kate especially helped me with local transport.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Unable to open door to courtyard so limited fresh air flow.

Very quaint and comfortable hotel in a great location. Short walk from train station and rest of town. Easy access to footpaths to explore countryside. Onsite restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner.

Nothing that the hotel could help just bad English weather.

The staff at the Redesdale were very attentive and efficient. The rooms were excellent and met my expectations. The location of the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was very good and a good choice of cooked or continental. The dinner was very good and a lovely choice of starters and English fayre, steak and ale pie, fish and chips. Altogether an excellent stay and I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Not many options for non meat eaters

breakfast was okay but had better tasting ones in much cheaper hotels. Hotel location was excellent, we could reach any corner of the cotswold from here. It even had podpoint EV charger points.
