There was nothing not to like, everything was perfect.

Everything about our stay in the apartment was great. The staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Our dog was made very welcome and even given a sausage at breakfast. Fab location with off lead dog walks close by. Would highly recommend a stay at the Red Lion, we will definitely return.

Old place, comfortable bed, good shower, hot chocolate, tea/coffee and cookies provided in room. Exceptional breakfast. Lovely staff contacted us when my son left his watch behind.

Lovely old pub, so nice to see it’s kept all its original charm. Staff were lovely. We had an excellent evening meal and breakfast and the room was really comfortable and quaint. The location is perfect, really quiet and lovely views. Will definitely go back. Thankyou.

Great place to stay! Staff friendly & comfortable warm room. The creaky floorboards added to the charm and character 😁 Dinner was good and breakfast exceptional. Staff very friendly. Next door to a lovely church and the pub's history and link to the church is very interesting. Recommend to stay here

Great staff, all very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious and clean Had a meal in the pub, absolutely gorgeous and fairly priced. Breakfast was spot on, good quality sausage and bacon. 2nd time we have stayed, use this place as a mid way point to Cornwall, and will use again in the future.

I've stayed here before and the service was very good the first time round and nearly a year later is still as good with no issues or complaints. Hospitality is very good and the staff are very helpful. Food quality was consistently very good over my two stays considering my visits were nearly a year apart! The breakfast was excellent in quality, plentiful, cooked well and very tasty and set me up for the day ahead. Bedroom was comfortable and bathroom clean with shampoo and soap provided, also tea and coffee and television in the room. I will stay again when visiting/working in the area.

Being an old and quirky building, the floorboards in the bedroom creaked with every footstep. Not great for sneaking to the loo in the middle of the night without disturbing the missus.

Excellent food, really helpful and competent staff who clearly loved the place. Good menu choice, good beer and carefully chosen wine list. Very good value. Very nice room and en-suite spotlessly clean. Perfectly cooked breakfast. Ample car park. Central Village location just off the road so quiet.

Having booked for 5 nights the available clothes storage was totally inadequate. The bedroom door lock should be fixed or replaced.
