Unfortunately my granddaughter broke her leg in 2 places in the park adjacent to the hotel which belongs to the pub We had travelled up from South Wales the night before to visit family We spent the Tuesday evening in a&e and returned to the hotel later that evening As you can imagine how horrendous all this was for us as a family On the morning of checkout I explained to the young girl what had happened the night before and asked if the hotel could help us out by letting us borrow a pillow to elevate my granddaughter's leg for the 5 hour journey.... It was an abrupt no she showed no empathy I even offered to pay for a pillow. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the duty of care We as a family visit quite a lot and have tried a few hotels in the area and must say yours is the best we have been to I would like to think you will address this matter... kind regards Helen Laing

Early check-in does cost extra (£5 per hour). But not to worry, we simply left our luggage in the car and went for a meal next door until we could check in.

Quick and easy check in and out process. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and polite. The free parking is always a bonus; as was the location of a pub/restaurant right next door. Ideal after a long drive and meetings.

The rooms were very warm and not much ventilation. Room was next to the door and directly in front of a game center, so much noise coming thru our open window. Too few electrical outlets for digital devices.

Staff were really good, polite & friendly. Rooms were clean & tidy, bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. For the price it exceeded expectations

Corridors were noisy at times. Breakfast options were expensive - continental should really be included at that price. Towels were changed every day, so not very environmental. Some rooms were a bit dark.

Very warm and welcoming staff. Great size rooms for individual or couple. Well-stocked tea/coffee facilities. Great location, close to supermarkets and motorway, but traffic was quiet. Plenty of parking.

Nothing special. Just the location of the hotel is a bit remote from Preston city cente.

The room was quite spacious and it had smart tv, wifi, coffe machine, a decent size bed and a small sofa. Car parking was also good.

This hotel clearly has some long term Tennants. When we arrived we did have to complain about the smell of weed in the hallway but the reception lady dealt with it.

Lady at the check in desk was lovely, room was clean and tidy no stains etc, always had extremely hot water for showers and baths which was amazing. TV had plenty of channels & Wi-Fi was a high standard. Road wasn’t too noisy, didn’t stop us sleeping. Pub beside it was great for food and drink, lovely breakfast and there is a kids play centre 5 steps from the front door! Will definitely be back👏

There was no fan to be able to keep cool as the room was warm with it being summer and the window only opens about 4 inches. I didn't like the kettle provided as the water runs down the front of it when pouring I ended up scalding my foot a little.

It was right at the M6 so a straight forward drive back up the road to Scotland. Was right next door to the poachers a family friendly pub with lovely food and a supermarket with a petrol station right across the road.

Very hot rooms. No Aircon and the window didn't open very far so there was very little air that could ventilate the room. The shower wouldn't run cold, so it was too warm to use in the hot weather.

Location good for the motorway, next to a petrol station and supermarket.
