Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location for a short break to Liverpool. Everything we wanted to do was a short walk. The Albert docks area was lovely for shops and food. This was very close. Would highly recommend the hotel.

United KingdomDid expect when tea/coffee provided in room there would be enough milk for a couple of cups each and some biscuits. Be nice if coffee was fairtrade too.
Could not be any handier for gig at the Arena, lots to do close by. Comfortable and contemporary. Breakfast had great range and was fresh and tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThey could do with some extra pillows! And biscuits in the tea tray after a long drive tea and biscuits is a must! 😀 Also the sliding door in the both room wasn’t a fan but the stay was still brilliant.
The location, central to everything and easy access to the town, transport and all the local attractions! The staff were fantastic and super helpful especially Jack the porter/doorman we had some great conversations.

Incredibly modern with rooms bigger than you'd think looking at photos. Concierge was an unexpected but lovely touch. Fairly small evening menu in the restaurant but a good selection of food choices for all tastes. Bed was huge with a choice of a memory foam pillow or feather pillow although too thin for just 1 but waaay too thick for both. Just out the way enough but not too far away from the city centre.

The gentleman who assisted us at breakfast was especially welcoming and helpful. Great room with everything we needed. Really liked the long window seat and the shower.

United KingdomI do wish there was a coffee machine in the room, not really a fan of instant coffee. For the room price though, it isn't a big issue and the coffee served with breakfast is great.
The breakfast is great and worth getting up for in the morning. I love the rain shower because being tall means regular showers are usually face height.
