When arriving to the lodge due to the rainy weather the outside seats were soaked and slightly messy (we were unable to sit on them) not sure if a cover should have been placed over them due to them being fabric? Other than that it was an amazing time and couldn't fault anything else!

The lodge itself was amazing, extremely spacious, and tidy. It's in a lovely area.

Value for money for breakfast was terrible Wi-Fi barely worked all dishes and cutlery needed cleaned prior to using it. Was left late not long before our stay we had to pay security deposit

Outdoor furniture cushions were unusable because they were left out in the rain. Privacy screens shown in the pictures not there! Hot tub lovely but head cushions missing and others looked perished.

The site is excellent. Visited Jjs for food for the first time. We thought it was excellent 👍

Glass smashed on floor near door to go in Burn marks on carpet, animal poop/ mud in carpet White stains/ marks on sofa Showers weren’t great, both a bit broken Bikini left on decking and the bottoms were left in the hot tub

On arrival we noticed that privacy screens for hot tub were broken.. we reported it but nobody bothered even send the message. We tried to contact owners many times about screens and deposit but there was no response at all.

The bed was really not comfortable! Such a shame as everything else was so perfect

Place was amazing! Really clean and lots of room. The hot tub was amazing and the privacy screens really made it so much better. We are already talking about when we can come again!

the threatening calls that was made to myself and my wife from the staff after we had a nose complaint. and saying we was rowdy when it was only me and my wife. I think they had me and my wife confused for the 40th party that was opposite our lodge.

Only half of the bubbles worked on the hot tub and didn’t receive a response of the contact number advised to get in touch with. Unsure if this was to do with the golf club or the owners of the lodge. Didn’t affect our stay but would only use again if guaranteed to be back working.

Property was amazing for its price, large rooms and plenty of space and equipment to use whilst there. Would definitely recommend to a friend and considering going again. Easy to get to location and nice scenery around the lodge.

There wasn't any oven trays or even a frying pan in the kitchen. There wasn't a double quilt for the sofa bed, just a very tiny single. The carpet at the back patio was soaking wet on arrival so we couldn't use the table to sit at properly.

Hot tub was an absolute luxury. The Lodge was gorgeous and very modern. Super comfortable beds. Very clean. Issue with the carpet was attempted to be dealt with immediately. Guy came round and tried to hoover most of it up but it didn't do much. Service was impeccable.

Style, location and hot tub

The lodge is very nice and would recommend, it’s in a great location and close to lots of places to visit and have fun with a young family. The only disappointment part was the pull out bed was broke, meaning some uncomfortable sleeps for my son and it had dampness around radiators which did course a smell, both problems advised to on-site staff, some one came to fix them but pull out bed was still the same.

Mainly happy with the service, only thing I could fault was the check in and out time, for the expensive price tag, you would think you'd get a full 24 hours there, but it worked out only 18 hours.

There were some things missing from the lodge which would have been a little bit better for us, especially because it was a whole week stay. We didn't have oven gloves or washing machine facilities. There wasn't enough tea and coffee and I had to go out and buy some. The maintenance workers were a bit noisy and the neighbours.

We really liked the comfort of the lodge and the hot tub. We enjoyed the outdoor space and the facilities in it were good like the dishwasher and the hairdryer was helpful. And the two shower rooms. Lovely park and beautiful grounds. Jj's was nice and staff are pleasant.
