It was so bright and breezy, a real relaxing haven for us. The art was phenomenal around the house and the decor was impressively put together.

What a beautiful home from home, this property was well equipped and nicely decorated! Everything you could possibly need was thought of and supplied. We also enjoyed cosy evenings in front of the log burner after walking back from the harbour area with our dog. The bedrooms were spacious and the double bed was really comfortable. The rain shower was powerful and there was plenty of piping hot water.

Fabulous accommodation, everything you could possibly need and more. Helen and Bruce have thought of everything, we had cream tea waiting for us, and lots of information leaflets of places to go. I would highly recommend this property. Brixham harbour has lots of great pubs and places to eat. You can walk (quite steep in places) or short drive to many beautiful beaches and coastal pathways. A gorgeous part of the country, we will definitely return.

The steps from where you park the car to the front door or side path could be improved. I did check on the website that there weren’t any areas dogs weren’t allowed, it was a surprise to see the stair gate to stop dogs going into the bedroom!

The location is excellent, we walked into Brixham, caught a bus from the end of the road to Torquay, drove to Blackpool Sands and Salcombe. There was all the equipment you needed, bedrooms were large and bright.! Parking was easy. Cooking your own meals was easy, we had an issue with the hob, Bruce was there in minutes to help us!

There’s no “step free” access, but this is Brixham - the whole town runs along a steep hill, so it’s not unexpected.

A home from home. The hosts had thought of everything and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous stay. Cream tea was the icing on the cake 🎂 We've been coming to Brixham every year since 2003, best property and hosts by far!

spotlessly clean, modern, very comfortable, with everything you could need provided. lovely little touches all over the house…books for adults and kids, some groceries left, didn’t need to buy basics (eg washing up liquid) even a bottle of cold water in the fridge. I found it all very thoughtful.

The little touches made to the house made it feel like home from home. Everything was perfect and the house was extremely clean. Helen and Bruce were brilliant hosts providing an earlier check-in than we expected and a welcoming afternoon tea. Will definitely be back.
