Loved everything. We had 2 rooms for the 4 of us. Both rooms where clean and comfortable. We stayed to go to the zipmas event. It was so handy just across the way and the restaurant and bar was lovely jn the evening. Staff very attentive and helpful. Would recommend and stay again

The only fault we had was that the room was soo hot at night, even with the window open.

We took our children to see santa at the zipmas experience and the hotel was literally the other side of the car park, so very convenient for us. We had a family room which had a king size bed and double sofa bed for the kids. The bed was really comfortable. The room was really spacious and plenty of facilities as in tea/coffee/milk, hot chocolate for the kids and packets of biscuits. Also bottled water for us all. The bathroom was nice and spacious with all toiletries included. We were greeted by friendly staff both when we arrived and went down for breakfast the following morning. Enough choice for breakfast and good quality food.

Table service needs some work, lady took our drinks and food order but we had to chase our drinks up. Food was delivered (1 chips came 5mins later). We never got asked if food was okay, if we wanted sauce, or if wanted another drink. I know it had been snowing but the restaurant was cold. At breakfast time, the food wasn't topped up alot and some seemed to have been there a while. Self serve which was fine. The fire alarm device in the room flashes, can be distracting if can't sleep. Radiators bit odd to work but sorted it.

Front of house staff were lovely. Food was good and decent value. Room was nicely laid out and TV was good enough, has apps. Scenery is beautiful and next door to zip world.

We would prefer the hotel to not allow shoes indoors. The place is like a big house ,not a hotel, and as the carpets are lightly coloured, we felt weird having shoes on and definitely does not help with cleanliness. In addition we would like some extra light in some areas. We felt that one of the dining areas was quite dark.

Overall the hotel is great! We loved the location, staff really helpful and friendly. Our room (family room) was really comfortable , clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast has a good selection for all tastes.

The bed may be on the small side - double rather than our preferred king size bed. Far from a town where there’s restaurants and shops (about 15 min away drive)

Such a lovely hotel. modern and chic decor. Beautiful room as well upgraded to a slightly larger one. Breakfast was also delicious! We enjoyed good quality hot breakfast food.

The menu was very basic. We understand that winter comes and they have to downsize the menu but it was so basic. The rooms were very nice but extremely small for the price. We rang up for room service and they told us that it would be an hour for food. Maybe this was because it was fresh or maybe it was because it was to go in the microwave. X

It was a beautiful place surrounded by mountain peaks, the room was nice and cozy very clean, I loved it cause it was close to the slate quarry which you can visit through Zip world.
