Breakfast service was a little slow. Ice cubes in the jugs of fruit juice. Someone was told they couldn't have a takeaway bacon roll for lunch so they took all the breakfast pastries! Emptying the arcade machines during breakfast was noisy and intrusive.

The room was large and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom too. Staff were really friendly. Easy access to the M20 for our journey. Breakfast selection was broad and well cooked. Option to have meals on site. A quiet location.

The shower was very weak, there was a trickle of water coming out of the shower. That was the only issue.

Breakfast, the room was large, and the dining area and pub were welcoming. The staff extra friendly.

This was a great spot to stay on our cycle touring trip in Kent. The garden is lovely and dinner and breakfast were both good. The decor is a bit tired, but the rooms were spacious and we were all comfortable.

It's an old building and in need of an update... As a spoiled European I'd prefer a mixed cold and water outlet in the bathroom and not two separate faucets. The rooms wouldn't mind a refurbishment either.

Everybody working in The Conningbrook Hotel has been very friendly and helpful! The atmosphere ist great - you'll feel very welcomed there! The rooms are clean and the beds were really comfortable. The location is super - a couple minutes from Folkstone in perfect distance to the Channel. And our dog was also very welcome - they have a separate area in the bar/restaurant with access for dogs - not normal here in GB.

Old building so the corridor outside squeaked TV small compared to some hotels. No menu in room.

Good sized room, comfy bed. Large private bathroom. Bath and shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Are in restaurant good meal. Freshly cooked breakfast very tasty.

The floor of the room was very noisy, couldn’t walk around without a dreadful creaking noise. We could hear the people in the neighbouring room walk around too! Bed was very uncomfortable, the headboard end seemed lower than the foot end. Not a nice feeling when trying to sleep.

We had a ground floor room which was bright and cheerful. However there were no drinking glasses in the room. And we found the duvet a bit heavy but everything was very clean and tidy.

The corridors and carpets are very dated, and there was a small amount of mould on the ceiling above the shower top left. However everything else was above and beyond for us, couldn’t have asked for anything better.

The restaurant was cute and comfortable, very aesthetic. And the blossom trees really made it beautiful

Room - well above expectations. A grab handle by the shower would be helpful and the shower was temperamental but generally very well equipped. Breakfast - decent buffet very reasonable price Bar - good range of dinks - wine and beer Staff - generally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable
