I can't think of anything to criticise, it was great my only regret is I didn't book a longer stay.

The retreat was wonderful! Private and very comfortable had everything we needed to feel like both a home away from home and a holiday at the same time!

Pheasant’s Retreat is an amazingly spacious, spotlessly clean, well decorated and fully equipped lodge. The hot tub and fire pit make for a lovely end to any day whatever the weather.

The mattress wasn't as firm as we are used to and prefer but recognise this might just be personal taste.

Very beautiful cottage which was well kitted out and exceptionally well decorated. Host Pete met us on arrival and was warm and friendly and showed us how to work everything. Hottub was lovely, enjoyed Netflix and cosy woodburner in the evenings and appreciated the recommendations given for meals out. We would go back in a flash.

Stopped here for 2 nights Saturday 29th July. It had everything we could possibly need. There is so much space inside and a huge garden which is so peaceful. The hot tub is absolutely fantastic. I have never visited such a beautiful and clean lodge. We will be returning. You won’t find a better lodge!

Nothing could have been better.

Greeted on arrival to show us around the property and everything we needed to know about our stay was explained. The property is lin a quiet scenic location and furnished to a very high standard. All needs for our our stay were catered for.

Everything, this cottage is absolutely fantastic I couldn't pick any faults! The hosts were lovely even though we were a bit early for check in this wasn't a problem Pete came and showed us around the property which was a pleasant change from our usual stays. The entertainment provided at the property meant there was no need to leave during the stay if the weather was poor/you don't want to wander out as the harddrive on the TV provided a fantastic range of films of all different genres and the treasure trunk under the TV had a range of good board games to entertain you for hours and of course the hot tub was exceptional. Couldn't have asked for a better stay for my partners Birthday & we are hoping to come back later in the year I can't recommend this place highly enough, Thank you for such a lovely stay ! - Abbey & Jack

Everything from start to finish, top to bottom was absolutely perfect. Di and Pete were great and very lovely. The house was just amazing. Loved every bit of time we had in there. What a lovely quiet time away we had and it was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be recommending and hopefully be back in the near future.

Very well presented property. A lot f thought has gone into the decor and was reflected throughout the house. Kitchen excellent and every item clean. Bedroom a delight to sleep in-very comfortable and quiet. Very central to most towns that North Wales has to offer. Visitors have to go to Chester as quite an experience. Really enjoyed our short stay and would recommend to other visitors without question.

Having to leave!

Fabulous place, perfectly placed to be far enough away to be restful and quiet but close enough to be able to explore. The place itself has everything that is needed if you want to cook in you can. The hot tub and fire pit are great for sitting out to relax. Would definitely recommend and will be heading back soon

We loved the comfort and decoration of the cottage throughout. The cottage is very well equipped throughout. Also the bed was incredibly comfortable. The garden was just perfect,so private and quiet.

The location was perfect, down a small quiet lane, with beautiful surroundings, allowing for maximum relaxation. The property was thoroughly cleaned and the facilities were great and everything you could need. Plenty of amenities a short drive away. The hot tub was a lovely addition of an evening. The owners were incredibly accommodating and helpful on our arrival and we would definitely return to this amazing getaway again in the future.

Nothing - everything was fantastic.

From receiving the keys to leaving and everything in between was fantastic. Could not have asked for more. The thought process of the property, layout and everything inside was well thought of and purely for the people who are staying. Absoloutley FANTASTIC. Di and Pete leave you alone as soon as the keys are handed over to you. If you need anything they are there for you. The place is very clean and tidy - can not forget to mention the lovely garden - with the Hot Tub which is brilliant. If you want a nice quite time away this is the place.

The only thing I would havd loved was a big blanket for snuggling on the sofa in the evening.

Absolutely stunning holiday accommodation, everything had been thought of, even films to watch if the WiFi went down. We loved every minute of our stay.
