Mucky room, not cleaned properly, corridors mucky

There was a stain on the carpet , next to the bed. The bathroom needs updating , re-grouting , replacement of rusted bits. The bar didn’t have bar snacks as the dry store cupboard was locked at 10pm.

Great location , super friendly staff who went above and beyond. Even with having to pay parking at £15 a night , it was still value for money. Breakfast was delicious and such a variety.

On the check out day we had an incident with the key and had to have it replaced a couple of times but staff was v helpful 10/10. On the same floor there was a room attendant who was dragging a pop up bed and she seemed irritated that I wanted to hold the door open for her and insisted I'd go first and let the door shut behind me... I didn't quite get what was going on, was a bit awkward and when my key didn't work she was v blant and told me to go to reception.. she was definitely having a bad day. Other that that, everyone was great and v helpful , we felt welcomed and will definitely go back for a spa weekend.

We arrived early and the receptionist was so professional and friendly at the same time! She arranged for our room to be changes as the deb was double but I wanted a twin room.( booked through booking.com and I selected twin room but on booking confirmation it was listed as double OR twin. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful.

I wasn’t so clear about the dinner Option not included in the package. One of the staff mentioned it was included but the next day another staff said it wasn’t included.

I enjoyed the serenity of the location and all the facilities included in the package .

Swimming pool and jacuzzi used by a lot by people from outside the hotel and also the gym , making it difficult to use the facilities. Noticed while using the gym, that isn’t clean and maintained properly, most weight bars and weights are very rusty and machines aren’t maintained properly and cleaned. Also about car park being charged £15 per day , we were staying in this hotel for the past 4 years and now being charged to park a car?

Absolutely nothing to dislike. Came away 100% refreshed and relaxed. Perfect.

Peaceful stay. Very comfortable room. Excellent tea/coffee facilities in the room. Very attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. I just wish we had more time to explore and use the leisure facilities! Will do so the next time we visit. And we will!!

I didn’t like that that charge £15 for breakfast the night before or on the day it was £17/18. I find it extortionate to charge this kind of money for a bit of bacon and sausage.

I loved the clean light rooms with windows that actually opened. I love the pool and jacuzzi.

We only stayed for 1 night, so it may seem unfair. However, just a bit of constructive criticism follows. The gym may benefit from a little uplift And , not the hotel fault but they are not located in the centre of town so of you do not take a taxi or do not drive , it a little bit of a walk from the bus stop. Once you bear that in mind ilthe walk is doable

A warm welcome from Lilly . An easy and fast check in with details explained clearly. A.great spa, which has sauna steam whirlpool and swimming pool. All kept clean. Also a small gym on site . Lovely breakfast. With great choices . The selection of fresh fruit was nice. Great service in the restaurant by Dev.. His attentive customer care was noticed. And the chef Ella for making an amazing omelette at our request

It’s a functional hotel that gets a lot right but it’s a rather dull 1970 (?) design

The bedroom layout is good and great to have a bath. The bed was way too hard okay if you sleep on your back but no good for sleeping on your side.

The only thing we can say is that our room was near the extractor fans on the roof and the constant hum at night kept us all awake including my son who was a little scared at first.

The property was set in a nice location, it had friendly staff and it was fun to go in the pool with our 4 year old. Room was spacious and clean. Would definitely come back again.
