My bed was in what was like a hallway off the kitchen and by the front door and was tucked under a sloping roof. I thought I might bang my head but didn't. I think it is probably meant for a child. To be fair, it did show a picture of it and it was ok. I went with my friend, not partner and we prefer not to share a bed!

The location was good, although we could see the sea when standing up out of one window, I had imagined it was really overlooking the sea. I also had it in my head that it was a smaller cottage type property rather than part of a large house. Nevertheless, it was quite a charming and quirky apartment, up in the eaves. It was very close to town and train station etc, which was great as we came by train and used public transport.

Heating wasn't on for long enough. If not for the portable heater would have been cold. Pillows old. Basically clean but bits on stair carpet and cobweb in room. Shower acceptable but not brilliant. Minimal toiletries.

It is an old attic room, the bed could have been a bit comfortable. The stairs are very steep. Need to be mindful.

The location was excellent with 10-14 mins walk to Penzance train/bus station. The sea was also within 5 mins walk. Overall it was a great stay. The hosts were awesome and very friendly. Kitchen was also spacious.

The internet coverage was patchy at times, my pc told me it was switched off but it wasn't. I moved to a different part of the room and it worked fine. However I know this is common in older properties with thick walls so it's not a complaint, just an observation.

Excellent location close to seafront, gardens, the Acorn Theatre, Penlee Gallery and the town centre, but generally peaceful area. Comfortable room with character in a lovely old house. Eddie and Nong were pleasant and friendly and responded quickly when I had a question about the internet

Nothing to think of.

Our room was very comfortable, pleasantly decorated and clean. There were lovely touches such as a fresh frangipani in a little wall vase. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and we were pleased to see that fire safety was a priority. There is also a lovely garden.

Would been nice to know ahead the fire alarm being tested , to not set us in a bit of a panic not knowing what is really happening upon wake-up … sad we had only small time to enjoy cuz would stay longer and recommend anyone to book well in advance cuz it’s worth it !

We loved the studio room , it was well thought through by design . Shower room was bit tight but manageable . Closed to all facilities to town on quiet street and lovely tiny garden to relax at . Surrounding gardens also nearby able to visit and Hosts are lovely people !

Having to carry bags up two sets of steep (long) stairs. One such set of stairs is acceptable -two is one too many. Sea Side studio was not exactly seaside!!! Seaside apart and Estoril being two different codes in Booking.com created confusion.

Location was reasonable. The linen provided and bed room was good.

Too much textile stuff in studio led to a mild allergic reaction - felt dusty.. the combination of a hotel accommodation - with option to order breakfast - and self-catering studios was confusing..

The location and courtyard were absolutely perfect! 5 min to the promenade - to get a morning cup of coffee watching the sea! Could easily explore beaches around and places to eat freshly caught fish. Beds were perfect - and studio had everything one might need for self-catering stay.

The property is in a quiet residential area so it was quite peaceful. The gulls are rather early risers though! The room was compact but perfectly adequate for our needs. There is even a sea view. The kitchenette was very small but again perfectly adequate. The shower in the en-suite was powerful.

Not really dislikes but parking did not free up as suggested in the evening so plan for parking charges. No normal teabags but probably could have asked. Stairs to crows nest not suitable for the frail.

Once we got our bearings the accommodation was pretty close to the town centre and amenities. Eddie was on hand to sort immediate problems out.

Very close to the town or the promenade of you go that way, and a nice botanical gardens at bottom of road. Parking was good too
