That the beauty road into it and the big gates then the eye sore building next to the door way into apartment and the lack of personal features to make it homey on the out side to. The he Eden view had big trees near window so didn’t see much of the beautiful view beyond it

Inside property office like building was so clean fresh and had everything needed home from kitchen bathroom for an over night loved the fan which was perfect for the hot day we had.

Strange location…feels a bit like you’re not supposed to be there at first. Eerie walking quite a way from the car park at night time with the half build next door and plastic flapping in the wind. Could be more welcoming outside with some signage and lights weren’t working at entrance door. Once inside, it makes sense and is lovely.

Comfortable accommodation, really well set out on the inside of the property and everything provided that you need. Lovely cosy bed and easy to adjust thermostat. Really clear check in instructions provided before arrival.

The post code takes you a location couple of hundred meters before the actual location but if you drive further down you will see the gate that’s showing on the add.

The property was nice and clean. The lights and heating was already turned on for us.

Very comfortable considering Lovely host Beautiful decors Very clean (5 start clean) I have 2 boys that are verry hard to fix into new place but there really enjoyed the environment. Could run around and play outside. Highly recommend for young family or couples 🥰. Thank you to the host. Will definitely be coming back soon this time without the kids 😁

A little out of the way, but fine if you’re driving. Location can be a little confusing if arriving in the dark, just make sure you have read the instructions and have your key code ready!

Excellent self contained apartment, everything you need…just bring your food! Very clean, quiet and a comfy bed. Location is somewhat unconventional; however, it’s a case of don’t judge by first appearances, I found the actual apartment very pleasant and just right for a couple of day’s exploring the hills. You collect the keys from a wall safe, you don’t see anyone on site. It’s about 5mins by car to Penrith for supplies and about 20mins drive to Keswick and 40mins to Seathwaite if you’re looking to tackle Scafell Pike, as I did…I would use Penrith Retreats again as a base for future hikes.

No illumination at the entrance door--this is only constructive criticism for your info it was pitch black and i tripped over the first night in the darkness at the door. The carpark is far enough away in the rain but hey ho nowhere is perfect- i only normally have 2 main requirements-a clean bed and accomodation + a good shower and bathroom both of these were excellent and above expectations

The accom' was excellent, the hostess was too, views were great.

The neighbouring property was a bit dilapidated but appeared to have been sold recently.
