There is a tight spiral staircase linking the living room and bedroom ,that some people might find awkward.

Clean ,beautiful cottage in peaceful scenic location near to Holmfirth and round the corner from a local Co op and friendly local pub. Really comfy bed ,very good shower with quality towels provided. Fully modernised ,with double glazing ,very efficient boiler and good TV facilities (Netflix/Prime).There was also a nice touch ,with drinks and fresh milk ,bread and local free range eggs in the fridge. Sara ,the friendly host ,lives nearby and was ready to greet us on arrival. The main settlement of Holmfirth is just down the hill and there is a car parking space just for you at the property. The property has everything needed for a comfy ,relaxing stay for a couple visiting Holmfirth and/or the Yorkshire countryside .

The only negative and it’s tiny was the navy blue mat outside the shower 🚿 n the floor. It moves on the tiles when you stepped on it. It’s not a dealbreaker though and wouldn’t put us off returning.

I loved the quiet location but still close to everything . It had everything necessary and some extra touches for breakfast like fresh eggs and cereal, juice , bread , jam and butter. Also we had a beer and a small wine waiting in the fridge . The facilities in the bathroom were a great extra and if good quality . The bed was super comfy and we had a great nights sleep .

This is a perfect little cottage with excellent views in a quiet location.Very clean and cosy. Lovely shower and bed very comfortable. Lovely surprises left in the fridge from Sara. Information folder was brilliant. Only 20 mins walk into Holmfirth. Local pub up the road and co-op to get groceries. Would highly recommend this beautiful place.

nothing could be better as it's a perfect little property but someone people might need to be aware of the spiral staircase which can be tricky taking cases up and down.

this is an excellent little property, a perfect focal point for a stay in this area. the hosts information prior to the stay was spot on and upon arrival the property was lovely and cosy, perfect on a spring evening. the property was spotlessly clean and the hosts had even left a few bits to eat and drink for breakfast the next day. All in all it's a great little place which i would be happy to visit and stay in again, many thanks.

The only thing I found were that the pillows did give me a bit of a stiff neck. Luckily, I did have a small camping pillow which I take with me as I often has this problem with certain pillows. My husband found the pillows OK.

Really lovely cottage. Nicely decorated. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom with powerful shower. Owner had left some milk, bread, eggs & a few other sundries plus a miniature bottle of wine & a bottle of beer, which was really very thoughtful & kind. The cottage was in a good spot to go walking around the local area. It was a very peaceful location. We enjoyed our weekend there.
