Location in the centre of Cardiff and near shopping centre and walking distance to all shops. Really comfortable beds and staff were helpful

Under-used so lacking some TLC. Restaurant closed on Sundays with limited, expensive choices at other times. Breakfast quality poor. Housekeeping staff looked miserable - they could do with some TLC too!

Shower not very good. Took ages to get shampoo out of my hair. Left note on door for room cleaning but didn't happen. Had to seek out staff for teas and coffee for next morning.

Lovely hotel. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great location for all attractions. Complimentary conditioner and confectionary in reception area.

Interconnecting rooms - The doors weren't great. You can hear everything through them.

The radiator in the room did not work, despite trying numerous times. Realised during early hours of the morning and by that point it was too late! Few cobwebs in the room - nothing major!

Great location, short walk to the shopping centre, restaurants and bars. Reception was very welcoming, and front staff were lovely. Overall, a lovely hotel, with only a few little tweaks it would be amazing!

Unfortunately with both of us having Apple Watches and phones there was not enough Eletrical points to charge all. Could do with some USB charging points.Re

My bedroom was dark , no natural light . Lots of lamps to make it look cosy , but it was still dim in there. Having an internal window that looked out on the reception atrium meant it meant I could not open window for fresh air and it was warm in room. Sink in my room had a problem when running tap to clean teeth water was not draining quickly. Bathroom decor needed some TLC. Other bedroom my friend had however was lovely.

Great location 3 mins walking to John Lewis and shops in St David's Mall. Ideal as it has its own secure car park under the hotel , pay and display £20 for 24 hrs . Breakfast was lovely good selection. I booked 2 double bedrooms , one for my friend and one for myself. Staff ensured rooms were on the same floor near each other . Bedrooms had comfortable beds. My friends bedroom was lovely , bigger , light and airy with city views , my bedroom wasnt as nice , as it was a poky room with an internal window that looked down on the reception atrium below so it was dark. Overall experience very good and will stay there again , but will ask for a room with outside window next time ! . Staff at hotel very efficient friendly and helpful, let us check in early.

The room we were allocated was an internal room. No natural air just air con. Hotel rooms are looking dated and in need of a freshen up. First stayed here quite a few years ago but worn carpets, stains in bathroom and scuffed chipped walls showing through now. But would stay again if price is right.

Location brilliant. Upgraded to superior room. Room was lovely, bed really big and comfy. Staff really helpful. Breakfast great and very reasonable. Parking on site. Nothing not to like! Will stay again.

I initially thought the breakfast at the hotel would be expensive but we had two breakfasts for £14 which was great value. Delicious breakfast - can’t complain at all. Will definitely be coming back!!

How central it was, we were watching a show at the utility arena so it was opposite that, bonus , Pool table in reception, really comfortable chairs in reception,

I didn’t really have a good night sleep. Only one was provided for us each so woke up with a bad back and tossing and turning quite a lot through the night with bad back

The breakfast was lovely, hotel rooms are very spacious and lots of facilities available. Love that the bad is open until 2pm
