Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThis isn’t a ‘dislike’ but a ‘may need attention’ Coffee machine didn’t register the pods a few times and sensor maybe on way out. But was a lovely touch having coffee (we all need coffee first thing- especially with a 6 hr drive home) so really, nothing to not like!
Lots of things to love about this: Beautiful quiet location Very well fitted and presented huts - we were so surprised at how much was in it. Really comfortable bed Exceptionally clean toilet and shower room Lovely little welcome pack of biscuits and milk and coffee pods We loved that dogs were welcome and at no extra cost - thank you! Shower was lovely and hot and good pressure Owner was so helpful - we booked last minute as tired (been on road for long time) and he kindly booked us in at pub for dinner.

The location is very quite and relaxing, there’s is no light pollution so you get an breath taking view of the stars. Which is very special to witness when you are from the city e guy property is quiet and very clean. It has a romantic feeling especially if you’re going with your partner. The huts are cute and you can tell a lot of work and love has gone into making them the way they are

United KingdomNothing.
The property was exceptionally clean and very cosy. We stayed in the Karrek Hut and had everything you needed for your stay, including milk in the fridge. Despite the Huts being small and cosy in nature, it did not feel crammed with us both and our dog. The hot tub was brilliant and located behind a fence which ensured our privacy. The toilet/shower block is very close to the hut and was very clean and modern. It was my partners birthday whilst we were staying over NYE and the hosts went above and beyond with putting up banners and balloons and even a birthday card. When we arrived there were fresh scones with jam and clotted cream along with a complimentary fire log. Would 100% stay again!

United KingdomThe hut was absolutely perfect! On arrival we were greeted and told where everything was and they were there to answer any questions, but after this they left us to it and it felt very private. The hut is very well equipped and was immaculate throughout. Being right on the moors is perfect for endless walks and the local pub is just a 2 minute drive away.

United KingdomNothing at all. Just would say if the hot tub had a umbrella over it we could have used it more as it was raining while we were there.
It was absolutely beautiful, so cozy and exceptionally clean. The location and views were amazing. Plenty of walking on the doorstep, a lovely pub 15 mins away that does excellent food. Well positioned for visiting beaches nearby too.

United KingdomWe loved it. Such a beautiful location, short walk to the village pub which was great and the food was lovely. Was shown our hut and facilities and then we were left to it and didn't even realise we were on someone's property as it felt very separate. We will be back and recommend this to friends and family.

United KingdomTo be honest everything was great. Very minor thing if I were to be picky... We arrived in the dark (so as I say very picky) The toilets/shower room (immaculate by the way) are for individual huts however naturally I went for the one closest to our hut. I soon realised that I was in the incorrect one as I had seen the towels/toothbrushes from the other couples. Small mistake but maybe switch the signs over. 😅 Other than that I couldn't fault a thing. 🥰
It really was a truly great stay. The hot tub was perfect and easy to use. The hut was surprisingly roomie. We had 2 small dogs with us and there was so much space. I personally liked the privacy screen between the two huts for when using the hot tub but also for letting our dogs out in the garden without disturbing the neighbours. Friendly hosts on site and very quick response on booking.com when I messaged. Clean, secure and home away from home

United KingdomThe hut was exactly what I had envisioned: a retreat type of holiday without the usual media powered hyped up nonsense. Genuine hosts. Very quiet, almost harsh moorland environment but not too far from Cornish seaside resorts, where, I guess, most tourists are heading.

United KingdomMaybe to enclose the front of the hut so the dogs can’t wonder off or get to the next hut so you can let them out without having to watch every move Or a temporary fence to use if needed maybe ? As one of our dogs doesn’t mix well with other dogs so could only let out when the next huts dog was inside. But other than this AMAZING.
Fantastic little place Had everything you needed Will definitely be recommending to others 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

United KingdomNothing we had a fantastic time!
The location was perfect, we loved the fact it was in the middle of no where as we are from London and loved the fact it was so peaceful and quiet! The owners of the property was so friendly and welcoming! The hut itself was actually bigger than what I thought! Plenty of room for 2 people and lovely facilities! The hot tub was a lovely added touch. We enjoyed ourselves so so much and cant recommend it enough for anyone that wants to have a few days away to explore Cornwall, the location is perfect to get around to some beautiful parts of Cornwall, we went to tintagel and was only a 30 min drive from there so was ideal. It was also my birthday when we stayed there and they went above and beyond by adding balloons and getting us a bottle of Prosecco for our stay. Was an absolutely flawless stay and would deffo love to come back here again! Thanks so much!

Excellent toilet/shower room. Great hosts. We were greeted when we arrived and told where to go if we needed anything and then left to enjoy the peace. Nice location. Would fully recommend.
