Very clean and tidy, well equipped accommodation. Close to marina and beach. Short walk to bus stops for easy access into Weymouth or Portland Bill

Not the properties fault but the neighbours were very noisy to the early hours. Some of the lightbulbs were blown but this time of year unless reported no one would know. The house was very hot a fan would have been appreciated

the shower temperature was difficult to regulate as it was cold or really hot. also bathroom fan didn’t work. the front door lock was broken but was fixed as quickly as possible

For once the photos were exactly as the property was in person, light, warm, comfortable, spacious, it was perfect for a couple to spend a couple of nights in with the facilities to cook in if wanted too.

Everything was generally great, just to note that the second bedroom has a skylight without a blind and thin curtains so it was impossible to darken the room at all which meant very early dawn wake ups!

The house was clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring the area. There was also a small garden with furniture to sit in. It had all the amenities you’d expect and we had a lovely week.

The property had not, yes had not been cleaned when we arrived at our arranged time. The property had been left completely dirty with dirty beds and bath towels by the previous holiday makers. Not one part had been cleaned or tidy, no clean towels and no clean bed linen. I had to call the owner, who did not realise we were arriving. He then arranged for the property to be cleaned however we had to wait two hours. There was no compensation for their mistake with little apology. I fail to see how they did not expect the property to be rented out when this was at the height of summer in August. When cleaned with clean bed linen provided it was done ok, but still felt rushed and not to their possible best standard. The Landlord promised wine, but he never delivered on his word. Lots of light bulbs also need replacing.

Please note I am a harsh critic and the things that compromised the stay were the absent blind and TV Ariel. The ant issue could have occurred anywhere to anyone 1. The general decor which was tired 2. Ants in the kitchen which infiltrated a wrapped birthday cake that I had made for my son. It had to be discarded. 3. The single beds being on wheels and easily scooting across the bedroom floor. I did end up on the floor when I absently leaned on one! 4. The garden having weeds ( not a major issue) 5. The second bedroom having no roof window blind, this was a major factor as it woke the occupant up at daybreak. Bearable for 2 nights but not so if it had been a week. 6. The TV having no Ariel which meant I player needed to be signed in order to see the news and there is no conventional TV channels

The only fault we could give was that there was a couple of light bulbs out making it a little difficult during the night time with a new born.

The property was absolutely fantastic, it is located in such a good place for everything you could possibly need! Really well furnished and the garden is lovely when the weathers nice ☺

The bathroom needs a serious overhaul as the shower is scalding hot on all settings and the dials are very hard to turn. The sink is missing the plunger so is a huge hole and the toilet flush didn’t work. It was temporarily mended so you have to push a tiny bit of plastic. Same in the downstairs toilet. Plumber was due after we left. The cleanliness is really not good either and therefore didn’t feel reassured for COVID precautions which was worrying. Definitely wouldn’t stay again which is a shame as it looks nice initially.
