Unfortunately the downstairs bathroom wasn’t accessible for a wheelchair - the house is accessible everywhere else.

Beautiful 3 bed detached house with ample parking and lovely gardens. Superb kitchen, dining lounge area. All linens of high quality and bathrobes provided.

Literally can’t think of anything! Stay wasn’t long enough!

Gorgeous modern interior, lovely and clean, wonderfully comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Owner is super helpful, both before we arrived and during our stay. It’s great to have a utility room for walking boots and coats. Fantastic stay, will definitely be back.

There was nothing not to like.

The property was lovely well maintained and furnished beautifully. There was parking space for 2 cars, and an electric charging point, which was great. It was close to a good pub for drinks and food. The owners were on hand if we needed anything. When we saw them, they asked if everything was okay and it was easy to have a conversation with them. Would definitely recommend it.

Amazing building, really well appointed I can’t think of anything we needed that was not available for us. Great village with fab local pub (food very slow and not amazing unfortunately) Parking plentiful and even electric charging points.

Brilliant comfortable open plan lounge. Spacious bedrooms. Luxurious bathrooms (two of the three are ensuite). Lovely garden. The whole barn was spotless and had everything we needed. We didn't have much need of our hosts but the advanced communication was brilliant and they were very welcoming.

the barn was very clean on our arrival, and we very much liked that there was an EV charger there. having the EV charger made life a lot easier, we will definitely visit again!

I didn't like leaving!

Relatively easy to find the Old Brewery Barn is a real home from home! Ian and Elizete has spent so much time on the attention to detail on this gorgeous barn providing you everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. Downstairs the barn has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining & living space with views out to the beautiful landscape. The kitchen is really well equipped, with pots, pans, dishes; even tin foil and salad dressing! On arrival there was a welcome tray of tea, milk and biscuits which provided a lovely touch. The bedrooms are all really spacious, clean and bright, simply furnished with extra blankets for comfort and warmth. The huge master bedroom is located downstairs and has a lovely en-suite with walk in shower, we always had access to piping hot water and the heating; although it took us a little getting used to, Ian was on hand to show us the ropes and we soon got to grips with it! The garden is very sweet and completely enclosed, perfect for our little dogs to explore. The location was ideal for us within a easy 10 mins drive to Ullswater for paddle-boarding. We'd made the trip up with our family who where located in a house nearby and joined us for evening meals as there was plenty of space to accommodate 6 adults. Finally Ian and Elizete were just the perfect hosts! They were on hand should you need them, but happily just let you get on with your stay, they greeted us on arrival and we had a lovely long chat with them on our departure. This place is a real gem and a perfect spot to escape to and enjoy everything that the wonderful Lake District has to offer!
