The evening staff really let the service down, we were going to a concert and a button to hold my dress up had come off, I called room service asking if they had a spare sewing kit. I was told it was on it's way. 25 mins later I had to end up going to the desk with the back of my dress open asking for the sewing kit no one seemed to know what I was talking about. No apology they just said someone had to go downstairs to find a kit. I had to sew this on in the car because we were now running late for the show. Not great.

Really friendly day staff on arrival, amazing man in the bar made us cocktails, We had a tasty lunch in the hotel. Spa was so nice and they fit us in for some fantastic treatments. Hotel room was lovely and clean. Picture booth and the pictures was a treat! Left my watch in my spa robe, it was found and I was able to collect the next day! Brilliant.

It was a very nice property in a great location with excellent staff and some wonderful amenities. The room was terrific and comfortable and all the little treats and drinks in the room were appreciate it. The breakfast was magnificent!!

we had a ‘don’t disturb sign’ but the cleaner still tried to come in. Bag with dirty towels and other rubbish outside our room throughout our stay. Had to call twice to get a hair dryer that works.

Loved the hotel - only minor mention, the pool is VERY shallow, nicely decorated though. Can get very busy, I don't think there are children's hours. Nice space all the same

An eclectic decor, fabulous!!! Only a few mins walk to Holborn underground station, so easy access all over London. Plenty of restaurants close by, some shops too. Visually great fun, pop-art cushions adorn the spacious seating in the bar/lounge, mood lighting as evening closes in...a couple of retro gaming machines and plenty to stimulate the visual senses Plenty of choice at breakfast. Lunch was adjusted to suit gluten free request - which I did well in advance of arrival I booked the afternoon tea (with a Mexican twist), which I requested gluten free, I was not disappointed! It was fabulous, absolutely loads, some of which I got boxed-up and brought up to my room - highly recommend... I had spa treatments, with Ishga (Scottish seaweed spa products) good therapist Sonas? (sorry mislaid her name). All the staff I conversed with friendly and helpful...

When we stayed, there was a party going on upstairs which we could slightly hear. Wasn’t too bad at all though but for a light sleeper it may have caused issues.

A little expensive. After 11 pm they don’t provide drinking water. They asked us to buy from the restaurant.

Mixed reviews on the beds. Bedding very heavy.

It accommodated the 4 of us in one room. Sharing one shower was a trial though. The little extra touches… sweeties at check in, popcorn, cupcakes for the birthdays, decaf tea available.

It was noisy, not the hotel itself, we didn't hear noise from the bars but as it is on a busy road we were woken by passing traffic and sirens during the night, it is the only negative about the hotel.

Excellent location, so close to Holborn tube station which is on the Picadilly and Central lines. Hotel is very 'cool,' lovely atmosphere. Room was spacious and very clean, couldn't fault it.

I chose what I recall was labeled the "supreme" king bed room. But the room was a bit smaller than I anticipated. Not bad but given the label they set my expectations higher. Also I would say the staff kinda made me feel invisible. They never seemed to smile or acknowledge you in passing. Service was fine when I asked for assistance. Just a bit weird that they seemed to not to smile or make eye contact unless prompted.

The bathroom was too small, it was awkward to close the door. It wasn't clear how to use the air conditioning.

Breakfast was fantastic. The bed was so comfy and spacious. The location was perfect for the west end theatre shows and great restaurants, and close to the tube.

Air con didn’t work properly so went from boiling to then freezing (once turned on). Very noisy room on 1st floor.
