Amazing place in the middle of Buxton!

Just one minor thing, we couldn't find the hairdryer.

The location was absolutely fantastic, across the road from the Opera House. We did self catering and the facilities were excellent. The bonus was having our own private courtyard where we could sit out and enjoy the weather, lovely.

The location was very central to all amenities. Our room was made available earlier than check in due to us attending a wedding. Food was lovely and service fast.

A welcome improvement would be to make the glass in the en suite bathroom door more obscure.

We went for a theatre visit and the theatre was literally a few meters from the door. Great location for the shops, restaurants, park etc too. Comfortable bedroom and beautiful guest sitting room. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Convenient parking and access to rooms from 2.00pm

Nothing as it was a perfect stay.

We’d came to see a band at the Buxton Opera House which was literally on the other side of the road. It was easy to park in the street outside, and on this occasion we weren’t charged. The building itself is a real Georgian gem, and beautifully furnished and maintained. We’d stayed at the Palace Hotel across the road, last year which is has sadly gone the other way, so our stay at No.6 lived up to expectations this time. We had a really spacious room which overlooked a quad so was really quiet, resulting in the best night’s sleep in ages. Beautiful en-suite with a proper power shower to wake us up, loved it! Breakfast is served when the Tearooms open at nine. A little pricey but worth every penny as it was quality and delicious.

Needed small fridge and microwave. Window in bathroom didn't stay up ans I fixed the blind in bathroom myself from parts left in a drawer or it would have been up all night.

Climbing the flights of stone steps in heels. The floorboards, as old building, creaking and making wardrobe shake when moving round the room.

This place is right in the centre of town opp the Opera House so really good location for shows. Plenty of pubs close by for a dring before hand with a Green King pub over the road and also plenty of places to eat. The property is lovely and bright and spotless credit to the owners. Would definitely return and recommend, superb value for money. Loads of parking around and about just read the restriction signs.

Excellent location for our visit to the opera house. Literally 50 yards from the hotel to the venue. Nice view from the room overlooking the pavilion gardens. Room clean & comfortable. Nice separate lounge area for residents to use. Lovely roof terrace patio. Friendly staff & excellent breakfasts downstairs in the tearooms (breakfast not included in room price) Everything was perfect with our stay.

Nothing - although a king-size bed would have been nice.

Ideally located opposite the pavilion gardens and opera house, and just a short walk to other central attractions, shops and eateries. The apartment is located down a side alley at the rear of the tearooms, but has its own private enclosed courtyard, which has a table and chairs. The apartment is tastefully decorated with a well-equipped kitchen and has everything you need for a short or longer stay. Lots of nice little touches are provided like Buxton water, biscuits, toiletries, etc. The tearooms are open for breakfast from 9.00am if you don't want to make your own. Although we didn't eat at the tearooms on this visit, it looked very nice and it very busy so it is obviously popular. Would happily return next time I visit the opera house.
